Does the Bonfire have most of the weight spread out through the whole yoyo or Does it have more center weight like the chief?

The Bonfire is a remarkably well-balanced return top. We put a lot of thought and effort into making sure it had all the rim weight it needed for speed and stability, and enough center weight to keep it from "throwing heavy".

Why is Boyd allowed to work for YOYOFACTORY and yet still a sponsored player by CLWY? This confuses me.

He doesn't work for YoYoFactory anymore.

I don't understand why people ask about a peak2. I think you should just blow peoples' minds and do a Peak3! Or an anti-peak - The Valley! I'm starting rumors!

The Peak has taken on an almost mythological status among people. And you know what...it was a REALLY cool and great player yoyo for its time!
But honestly, what we're making now kicks the Peak's little metal butt all over the place. Next release is the Bonfire, and it's a jillion times the yoyo that the Peak was. We're grateful for the love people show for the entire history of our little company, but the future is so much more awesome than the past!

Why do you say that the Bonfire plays similar to a Peak and a Chief? I've never played a Peak but I own a Chief and I've been interested on the Bonfire but I don't want to buy a yoyo that plays similar to something I already have.

Where did we say that? Specs are totally different for all three of those! The Peak was our first return top and while it holds a special place in our heart, we've learned a lot about design since then and it doesn't hold up to our current line.
The Bonfire and Chief are definitely more refined return tops, and have a similar *level* of play capabilities, but don't feel the same at all, either in the hand or on the string.
