Do you think skinny/thinner throws could become a trend again with manufacturerers in the future? I love a skinny throw.

I kinda doubt it. The tricks aren't moving in the direction, and the current batch of specialized 3A return tops are probably about as skinny as you can get and still have a potentially popular model.

Where is Chuck's Kendama edit?!?!

Sitting on a hard drive. He's still working out some editing glitches, and we're still trying to get some kendamas made to release at the same time. :)

Does Caribou Lodge Return Top Works have/own a PATENT on the ring in the cup of the Chief/Arctic circle/Puffin1? Just wondering if it was a proprietary design element.

It's a unique design element, but it is not patented.

Why do so many people not like the cliff? I have 2, one that I take everywhere and beat up, and another that I have for at home. What are you honest thoughts in the cliff? And why do you think people don't like them?

I love it! It's a great return top, and was really unique in the market when we released it. It just didn't sell very well and for whatever reason, players didn't connect with it. Sometimes a return top design just doesn't *click* no matter how good it is.

Why don't we see many trench-cut/recurve designs anymore?

Not sure, but there sure were some good ones while that particular little fad lasted. We were awfully proud of the Cliff, and the Nest and Avant Garde were really nice return tops.

what kind of return tops did all of your team members use when competing in the World Yoyo Contest? I had trouble identifying a few...

Andrew Maider - Puffin 2
Riccardo Fraolini - Bonfire

Palli - Puffin 2
Pekka - The Power of his Mind
