Lots of questions and please answer it haha -When will be the release of the scout will it just release the prototype? Will they be only in solid colors in first run? -Will there be a BBB Scout if so where can it be released? -how much is it? -Where do the clyw 5 panal hat release

1. The Advance Scout (prototype version) will be released in early December, in solid colors only. One time run, never to be made again.
2. There will be a Black Bip Bop version of the regular Scout when it releases next year.
3. We have not set prices yet for the Advance Scout or the regular Scout.
4. The 44Clash hats release this weekend at 44Clash. If we have any left, we'll offer them later (maybe direct, maybe through retailers). The wool and denim hats will release from retailers soon.
Hope that helps! -Steve

Gnarwhal 2 before Scout? That will be great if yeti release together so I can save my shipping fee~

Advance Scout first (direct from CLYW only) and then Gnarwhal 2 (released from all CLYW retailers). -Steve

So I dropped my Chief on concrete, and now it has a jagged sharp spot. :( My question is if there is any way to file that spot down without further compromising the playability?

Just get a metal file and grind that spot down. I can assure you, your Chief can take it. -Steve

What is the scout going to be sold for? When you say 300 pieces does that mean 300 return tops or 150 return tops?

300 return tops total.
Retail price hasn't been set yet, but we'll announce it soon along with the release date. -Steve

i am really sorry... but will there be yetis in slusny before christmas? you destroyed christmas with scout... so i hope i'll buy a yeti

I really don't know. Sorry I don't have a better answer than that, but we're working on it! -Steve

Its a pity, that you arent an exclusive brand, as youve been years ago. That time, when throws were sold within an hour and having a clyw was something special. Nowadays almost everyone have one and they are in stock for months. I know about about moving busineess. but still. sorry for eng iam czech

It sounds like you're upset that we're actually growing as a business and are getting close to being able to meet demand?
So, uh....sorry we're successful? -Steve

Are you thinking about making any other budget-ish yo-yos like the yeti?

Eventually, maybe, probably, possible, hopefully. Chris and I really have a LOT of ideas but it's definitely a long process to hash them out, revise, refine, sit on 'em for a minute, wait, see if they still resonate, tweak, etc etc. Some things just *click* but for bigger decisions like new models in a different price point than usual we have to REALLY feel like it's a great fit for the brand. -Steve

Speaking of Latitude 53, it's so very AWESOME! Just opened the package that contained my new Bonfire in that colorway and it really is a work of art. Thanks for making such amazing performing and even better looking throws. Just curious, how many Bonfires in this last run were Latitude 53?

Thanks for picking one up...we appreciate it! We only made 20 of the Latitude 53 in this run. -Steve

Steve, you said youre into all kinds of object manipulation. So are you into cardistry too?

Not especially. I really enjoy watching it, but it seems like one of those things that can quickly take over your life and I kind of avoided it because I could see myself really easily becoming obsessed with it. -Steve

what do you have against poi? also my bonfire is getting here tommorow and im so excited any ideas on what to do to pass the time

Ha ha, nothing really...it's a running joke at this point. Traditionally, jugglers are very much against poi for a number of totally ridiculous, BS reasons that all boil down to "I don't like people who don't learn the same kind of juggling as me". Personally, I think anything that gets people into the wide, weird world of object manipulation is a good thing, and if they come in through poi and hooping I'm totally fine with that.
To pass the time...work on concepts for new tricks? Thanks for picking up a Bonfire, we appreciate it! -Steve

What is the material of 5 Panel Hat ? 100% cotton?

The 44Clash hats are cotton, the other two are wool and denim. -Steve

hi... i've got an idea... you should make a pack of sticker... for... i don't know... 5 bucks... but it woul be awesome

Unfortunately it would cost more than $5...but yeah, we want to do sticker packs. We'll get to it eventually! -Steve

do you still juggle?

Every chance I get...which isn't very often, sadly. But yeah, I still love pretty much all kinds of object manipulation.
Except poi. Screw poi. -Steve

why do you guys discontinue throws? I really liked the Glacier Express

Sometimes it's because they just aren't selling well, sometimes we have a new design in mind that obsoletes it, sometimes we're just tired of it. Lots of reasons, but we try to make sure that everything in the current CLYW line is a return top that speaks to the current players. -Steve

Will the Fools Gold Puffins and Bonfires be mostly ano flaws. Also CLYW is awesome.

Puffins are a mix of both. BvsM2 nearly all have super minor vibe. There are a bunch of A-grades mixed in, though. -Steve
