Hi, I have noticed that the artwork on my Big Dipper is fading off, leaving some gaping gaps that is a little displeasing after a few months of play. Is this natural?
Sorry about that. This is pretty normal as it is printed on the sides with ink. With wear and use it can wear off. Same as any plastic consumer product with printed artwork that gets used a lot. -Chris
I dunno what happens to me while im trying to film a trick or trying to show a friend something. I end up missing even the trapeze. This is especially frustrating while filming(non yoyoer friends dont usually get i missed something). How can i improve in this respect?
It's the nerves! Everyone gets them, I'd say just try and not put any pressure on what you're doing. -Andrew
Andrew do you ever get nervous before getting on stage? If so how do you cope with it? And what are you thinking about while your on stage doing a performance?
I do get nervous! I try to just be confident with what I am doing. It's easier said than done, but what I have learned is just believe in yourself and get stoked about what you're doing. Competing is fun, and regardless of the outcome, it's fun to show people what you've been working hard. I guess my best advice is to be confident, smile, and have fun. When I am on stage I try to just have a good time. -Andrew
Maider what do you think of Japan
<3 Japan -Andrew
Approx release date/month of the manatee? It might just end up being my first clyw :)
So Andrew. What makes the blizzard such a good yoyo?
The thing I love about the Blizzard is how awesome it feels. With a Bi-metal, you can make the yo-yo lighter but also still give it that heavy feeling. When you pick up the Blizzard, it feels particularly heavy. However, when you give it a throw, it has no problem zipping through tricks as fast as you would like. This combined with long spin times and the comfortable shape makes it my favorite yo-yo. Love the shiny rim look as well :) -Andrew
Will the manatee run be a large one(akin to the bog dippers) or will it be a smaller run like previous CLYWs
Yup we made a ton of them! -Chris
Is the surface finish on the manatee different than other previous clyws(i.e. not done by the same organisation as before?)
Yes totally different. Closest to early 2009 CLYWs. -Chris
Andrew who are some of your favorite established players. and some of your favorite up and coming players?
I think some of my all time favorites are Gentry Stein, Zach Gormley, Michael Kurti, Charles Haycock, Yuuki, and Takeshi Matsuura. Have also been digging routines from Keiran, Bergy, Becko, and Ethan lately, but I guess they aren't really up and coming players anymore. Dkane is killing it as well! -Andrew
Did ricaardo name his signature?
Yup! -Chris
What happened to Shinnosuke Miyamoto?
Not quite sure. Let us know when you find out. He's a bit of a phantom thrower. -Chris
Will you make more tutorials wit Yuuki ?
We have a few more in the vault! -Chris
Hey whats the size of your respond pads? I can fit it in my level 6 and replay pro :(
Our pads are only made for CLYWs. Sorry. -Chris
Hello Andrew, I can't learn your trick slip triangles. So what trick do you recommend to learn to land this trick ? Or what should do to land it ?
Hey dude, I would say try watching the video on Google Chrome. With Chrome, you can slow down the video even more and it may be able to give you a better idea of what is going on. If not, send me a message on Facebook. I would be happy to try and help more. How far are you with the trick? -Andrew
You don't have to answer this, but should I buy a Big Dipper now or wait for a Yeti 2?
Very different yo-yos! Not sure which one I like more. Maybe go both? :) -Andrew
For Andrew,do you think it's fine if someone had same elements in one trick (example:doing a chopstick in a certain mount, after doing some other movements, does a chopstick again, and so on)Thanks!
I think it'd be okay if you did something different with that chopstick mount. -Andrew
Hey Andrew , what happened to you at the last PNWR ? It's wasn't like a performance of the guy who won the BAC , I don't mean anything bad.
Haha no worries man. I wasn't entirely planning on going to PNWR until about the day before I left. I flew to Seattle with some tricks, but no real freestyle planned. The routine didn't really go as planned either, needed some more practice. Hopefully I will do better next time! -Andrew
