What is the color name for the Big Dipper that matches Zach's shoes. Is that the milkshake one that you posted on your site or is it green just curious because I have some Christmas money lol.

Not sure we've settled on a name for that yet. -Steve

You guys planning more colorways of the Big Dipper for the future? Or you gonna stick to the same 3 for awhile since you're gonna be doing larger batches?

First batch is just three colors, and then we'll change them for the next batch. -Steve

Is the big dipper going to be easier to buy than the yeti? I mean, you guys did not a lot of runs of it

Absolutely! New factory, better design, and more experience means there will be plenty of Big Dippers for everyone. -Steve

Just got a GW2 for Xmas! I cannot unscrew it. I've been prying at it with all my might off and on for the last hour. Trying to change the bearing. It just will not unscrew - any tips? Thanks!

Sorry about that! Sometimes our assembly team gets a little too gung ho about cranking them together. Keep on trying...maybe get one of those grippy rubber things for getting the lids off jars so that you can keep a tight hold on it.
We had some issues with our old machine shop, where during assembly the return tops had to be really tightened down hard in order to prevent vibe. Since we're switching machine shops, we're working on getting higher tolerances and eliminating this problem. But once you get this unscrewed it should be fine...sorry about that! -Steve

why are your yo-yos so expensive. My friend has a puffin and i'm wondering if it will be worth it. Even with the high price.

Our return tops are expensive because manufacturing small quantities of a precision item in North America is expensive. We have a new plastic return top releasing in January that will be much more affordable, and you can sometimes pick up Fool's Gold return tops from our website...those are return tops that with a small amount of vibe or anodizing flaws that still play nice but aren't quite perfect. -Steve

Do you ever think Harrison will realease an orca 2 for future plans. Has anyone ever asked him about it and is he going to California states 2016??

There's really nothing to change about the Orca, and it's one of our most popular models. Why would we change it?
Haven't spoken to him lately, so not sure about Cal States. -Steve

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to my fam at the lodge! Hope you guys have a good one!

Thanks so much! Chris and I tried to stay offline yesterday, but we were sending pics of our families back and forth all day. Everyone had a blast! Thanks so much! -Steve

So... Any releases definately scheduled for january?

Big Dipper is going out to retailers and a decent batch of one-offs in various models will be on the CLYW site. -Steve

I got a maiderade bonfire for Christmas and I could not be happier! Thanks for all you guys do

Sweet! Glad you love it!! -Steve

My bearing seat for my Yeti broke. Is there any way that it could be fixed? Can I send it in for you guys to fix or something?

YoYoExpert is handling all customer service on these...drop them a line, please! -Steve

1. The light you are filming in is super harsh. Find somewhere shady, or shoot in the golden hour.
2. Wasted time in a freestyle means you're losing points, wasted time in a video means you're losing viewers. Keep things moving, cut things off a little quicker, and know that no matter how good looking you are, no one wants to watch you smile at the camera for 4 seconds after you catch the yoyo.
3. Don't include mistakes. If you take the time to shoot, edit, and release a video, take the time to hit all those tricks clean when you are filming.
4. Frame your shots better. Know that you don't have to have the *entire* trick in frame, and if you are going to do a wide shot there has to be a good reason, same for a tight shot.
Mostly I think you need to work on your video making skills. Dig around on YouTube, there are TONS of tutorials on how to light, frame, edit, color correct, etc. to give yourself a better looking finished product. Keep at it, and try to learn how to do one thing a little better with each video you make. You'll get there! -Steve
