This might seem like a dumb question, I'm pretty new to the contest scene... Is it necessary to have multiples of the same return top when it comes to competing if it so happens you have to switch out? I see a lot of people with 2-3 extra of the same yoyo when they compete.

It's not "necessary", but a lot of top level players will find a specific return top that suits them, and then make sure they have backups of that one, all set up identically. It's a consistency thing...if you don't have to adjust for a change in equipment, you can focus on just your tricks without needing to make allowances for picking up a different return top.

How much are these BBB kendamas going to cost?

DealWithItSF is setting the price on these. They should be announcing it soon!

which are the easiest few cabin tutorials? btw you guyzzzz are da bomb

Kinda hard to answer, since everyone's skills point in different directions. Best bet is to just watch through and see which ones look easiest to you!

in the Summit documentary, what is that white milky liquid in the metal lathe? what is its purpose?

Pretty sure it's a coolant to keep the parts from overheating during the machining process. @onedropyoyos can probably give you a way more precise answer. :)

Will these new BBB kendamas be available at Yoyoexpert?

Nope...it's a super limited collab between us and DealWithItSF, and it will only be available direct from them.

Why should I buy you yoyo's? What seperates you from the rest of the other companies?

CLYW is player owned and operated, and we put more effort, thought, and work into each of our releases than some companies put into a years worth of theirs. We support a team of some of the best and most creative return top players in the world, we work hard to support the artists that we work with and pay them fairly and well for their contributions.
We work really hard to build a brand that is going to outlive us all. We have a vision, and we're all-in on bringing that vision to life, every single day.
You should buy our return tops if you like what we're doing, if the specs suit you, and if our product speaks to you as a player. We hope that they do!

omg omg omg omg omg omg omg idk who that guy that suggested wolf lake is but you sir are my hero. wolf lake is my favorite. it would look so good on a bonfire. also what about rockabully

We're talking to our anodizer to see what's possible, but we've definitely been discussing bringing back some old colorways for short runs. :)

I just got a Bonfire and it is AWESOME! What are the first 3 cabin tutorials I should learn? Thanks for making such great return tops!

They aren't in any kind of order....just dig through and find your favorites!
We're working on a massive overhaul of the CLYW site, and will have them better organized in the future though. :)

my bearing has come off of the yoyo, how do i re-attach it back? it keeps falling off of the yoyo half!

It doesn't have to be attached to the yoyo half. It just needs to sit where it belongs, in the bearing seat, and spin freely.

A friend and I disagree: He says sponsorship *ALWAYS* comes down to/back to brand promotion I think sometimes it's just about supporting players who have a vision you believe in. What do you think? Is he right? Me? Both? Neither?

We sponsor players who we love, who's goals we want to see accomplished, and who's progression we want to support. Promoting the brand is just a natural bi product of being awesome.

Anything for sale at MWR?

I don't think so, unless Air Traffic still has some Wooly Marmot 2s left?
