I've heard people say that the ac 2 is an upgraded summit in terms of speed and stability. What's your opinion on this?

The Arctic Circle: 2nd Expedition is pretty clearly an upgraded version of the first Arctic Circle...which came out a full year before the Summit.

Nothing planned, but as I mentioned below...we don't pick colorways until we have to.

how does the gnarwhal 2 play in comparison to the arctic circle 2?

Man, that's like comparing chocolate milk and orange juice. Just utterly different.
The Gnarwhal is slightly undersized, built for speed, and plays crazy fast on the string. It's the kind of return top that if you are a naturally fast player you could end up chasing it a bit.
The Arctic Circle is a full-sized return top, still fast but at that size it tends to hover a little more (or at least have the capability to). A little more controllable for players who aren't total speed demons, IMO, and really great for those pop-the-return-top-up-and-do-a-ton-of-crazy-shit tricks that Zach is so amazing it.
AC is more stable than the Gnarwhal, but mostly just due to size. Gnarwhal is still pretty stable, especially for something smaller.
They just feel and move totally different. Really hard to compare.

Will you ever be making a budget metal yoyo? Maybe with lower quality aluminum but same ano, because all of your yoyos are so expensive...

Anodizing is one of the most expensive parts of our return tops.
We're kicking around a lot of ideas right now on how to offer "entry level" models that still maintain CLYW quality. Nothing finalized yet, but it's definitely something we're working on.

Where can I buy the CLYW Bucket Hat? If they are sold out, will the bucket hats ever be on the clyw store again?

We don't have any left...no plans to make more. Maybe in the future?

What is Zach preferable string length?

Pretty long. I tried one of his return tops once and the string was well over my comfort zone. Not Ky Zizan super gargantuan long, but I'd say it's around 46" - 47".
