another run of 65g chiefs?

The 65g Chiefs play really nice, but 66 really is the sweet spot for that return top. We're sticking with 66g.

Do you guys accept personal messages through Facebook or direct messages through instagram? If you say yes then probably the flood gates would open, but I just want to share my ideas for clyw, I feel like I use too much time thinking of clyw and have plenty ideas but don't ever share them.

Best to email thelodge@clyw.ca.

Ask fm doesn't have enough letters to write my ideas. Also if you do accept personal messages for ideas would you read them or take them under consideration if their good. Good or bad ideas I feel like I need to share them. That's what Ideas are for right? To filter out the good and the bad.

Email thelodge@clyw.ca if you want to share ideas. Just a heads up though, we get a ton of email and can't necessarily respond to everything.

I am going to US Nats. It will be the first contest I have ever been to. I also want to compete. Do you have any advice, and what cabin tutorial can I learn quickly that will really impress the judges? Thanks

First contest? Don't worry about competing, worry about having fun and meeting more players!

Are any One Drop models (other than the Summit, obviously) popular with the CLYW team?

Nothing in particular. Everyone on the team enjoys throwing other return tops now and again, but it's not like there's a particular model that everyone gravitates towards.

Yuuki spencer on team clyw!

Yuuki mentioned something 6 or 8 months ago to a few people, asking for their thoughts on him approaching a company for a sponsorship again. It sounds like something he's thinking about, but hasn't really made any kind of decisions on.
To be sponsored, it really has to be something that YOU want for yourself, and you have to have a clear and definitive plan for what you want and what you can provide. It sounds like Yuuki is thinking about those things...if he comes to us, we'll be happy to talk to him. But it needs to be something that he wants, not something we chase him down and try to talk him into doing.
Which, oddly, is the exact opposite of how we normally approach sponsoring players, LOL. Everyone is different!

Will there be a "difference" between the black Yetis and the other colors when the next batch is ready? I read somewhere that the black were more "troubled". Has that been fixed?

Wut?
I have no idea how to quantify "more troubled" but really, some people just preferred the feel of the colored ones versus the black. The composition of the plastic is slightly different between the black and the other colors, so the feel in the hand is a different. Players have developed preferences but really, they play about the same.

What is the clyw culture?

We're all about cutting down trees to build our own cabin, drinking syrup right from the bottle, and piping hot poutine. We like the smell of fresh snow and flannel right out of the dryer.
That all sounds great, doesn't it? Ha ha.
Really, if you boil everything down, we're a group of people who really enjoy being around each other and making cool stuff. We love art and music, although not always the same art and music. Chris, from the very beginning, had a clear vision for CLYW and each of us has come in and contributed to that singular vision while also bringing in our own tastes and ideas. Our culture is one of friendship and collaboration and love and support and innovation and just having a good time with good friends.
There's a business side, where we have to be careful how we do things to make them sustainable, but everything is a means to an end...and that end is making cool stuff, putting it out into the world, and hoping that cooler stuff comes back from it.
