My answer is too long but screw overseas production. Thats for entry level throws. You guys arnt an entry level throw company and i dont think you should cater to that. Theres enough entry level bs to cover that. I love your company where its at. Theres no need to change.
Yo Chris do you remember me I sat sat next to you on the front row at iyyc in Florida last year little white dude who asked for your autograph ? If so I wanna let you know you have mucho grande support from your florida dudes love the orca bye the way!
I do remember!!! Thanks for the love K! Means a lot! -Chris
How does it feel to actually BE and/or having created one of the most awesome community/groups of the world? Can't think of any cooler thing on this planet than CLYW. I effin love you guys!
That means a lot! You have no idea!!! We love this community and are so thankful for all the love and support we get. So thankful for every person who has ever searched our name, watched a video, purchased a throw, traded for one, emailed us, asked us a question, posted a photo, filmed a video with one our throws, thrown one of our return tops ... Just so thankful to be able to do what we love! -Chris
Hey Steve/Chris - however of you is more into slack/whip tricks! Even though checking and correcting my string tension I really don't get the hang of the earth bind (where you whip the string into the yoyo in mid-air and pull it down) the string always kind of twirls and never forms like I want to!
Try to hit the string as close as you can to your throw hand :) -Chris
Love the solidness and weight of the Advance Scout. How will I feel about the final version?
You will love it! The production Scout is my all time favorite yoyo. I am so proud of it! It is a little lighter which makes it quicker, but just as stable and long spinning. Absolutely in love with it! -Chris
Maiderade AC2s are already available to purchase from the Mexican Yoyo Association, is there any other retailer that has them available already? I want one so bad!
Not that we are aware of. -Chris
NO STEVE, MAYBE YOURE TOO SOFT! GOLD AINT SOFT MAN. HE BEEN THROUGH ALOT MAN. HE JUST SENSITIVE.
You guys should do a Shutter type of thing where it's a quite inexpensive throw but is play capable of winning the world yoyo contest in the right player's hands.
What are your thoughts on the downbeat? Do you feel like CLYW is moving towards the "all about performance and spin time" approach. Any plans for more fun based throws?
We have a strong contest team and also more laid back team. Right now we need to catch up on some solid performers and that's where the Puffin 2, Scout and Orca come in. For fun we're all about fun and that's where the Bonfire, Sasq, Orca, Scot come in. Lol. It's all for fun! That's why we are here! I haven't tried a Downbeat, so can't respond on play. Looks neat though. -Chris
