Who from clyw would be at PNWR? Also would you guys have a booth? If yes then what all would you have at the booth?

We'll have some Fool's Gold product at the BASECAMP booth!
From the team Alec, Tessa, Isaac, Gray, and Aaron have all confirmed so far. -Steve

With the release of the Dune and nothing on your coming soon page of the CLYW website, what should we be on the lookout for or excited about in the near future?

We've got a new Pool Party model that just finished production, plus restocks of the Kodiak, Manatee, and Blizzard.
We're prototyping the next Puffin (!!!) and working with Zach on the next version of the Borealis.
We're also working on a lot of boring business stuff to help CLYW run better, which mostly involves me reading Quickbooks documentation and weeping gently, but it'll help everything run smoother in the long run. -Steve

I hear you guys are sponsoring AZ states! Will there be any compasses there? I'm planning on competing with them, and I need a spare. Should I order one now, or wait for AZ states and get my spare there? Btw- I'm super excited for the dune! Hope I'll be able to get one :)

No plans for a booth at AZ States, although if Ben runs a Basecamp booth we might have some stuff there.
If you need a backup for competing, probably better to order one now! -Steve

I missed the singular rainbow trout drop on yye today (didn't have money on hand). Are you planning anymore rainbow trout releases anytime soon?

Nothing planned. -Steve

When would you guys release a yuuki kayak video? i think because of their being no content to show it off people just missed it. It's such a great throw!

😉

Any plans for some solid color ways of the Kodiak? Solid bi-metals are the best.

Sales of them would indicate otherwise, but I prefer them also! Nothing scheduled though. -Steve

So,i thought about coming to worlds, but does zach teach any of his tricks in person?Or yuuki...or..you know, any team member..(Zach is my favorite-no.1 inspiration, tell him he is amazing!)

You'll find that all CLYW team members are happy to swap tricks at contests. -Steve

How come you guys haven't done a white yoyo? I would totally cop

Only way to do that is with powder coating and it's pretty unreliable. -Steve

How would you say the dune plays, in comparison to your other throws?

Really fast. Plays heavier than our other stuff, even though it's only 68 grams. But really, really fast. -Steve

Steve how is the sherpa for stalls and stuff like that?

Works great for stalls, just make sure it's set up right. Thick green YYF pads and a gunked bearing. -Steve

Just got my confetti cannon peak 2. It is far and away the most beautiful colorway I've ever seen. Just so you know, I will buy any throw released in this colorway forever. Any models gonna ship with it in the near future? I'm wondering about the dune, gorge, new puffin, new orca, new borealis.

Yep, it's a colorway we're gonna keep using. -Steve

Steve I got the kayak thinking that the hub kinda looked like the jacknife hub. This was not true. The hub is raised?what was the purpose of this design choice? I find fingerspins very tough to do on the kayak:(

The hub is not raised on the Kayak, it's an indent specifically to make fingerspins easier. It's not as severe of an indent as the Jackknife, but it's still an indent. -Steve

Whatever happened to that vid of Harrison Lee at the machine shop?

It's hanging out, unlisted, in our YouTube channel. Should release that soon, huh? -Steve

dose have troubl when design for player is not having masses appeals? like the majority of player is wanting yoyo to have fun, when the compete design is too much strictness

It's tricky to find a balance. Competition and casual players are all looking for the next amazing thing, so we're always kinda trying to provide something new for everyone. -Steve

Just snagged a confetti cannon peak 2 from slusny. I'm so happy, because they are sold out everywhere else. How many were made in that color way?

Nice score, congrats! Pretty sure there were around 40 pieces. -Steve
