Any tips on how to break a bearing in faster? Played with it for over an hour after lubing with half a drop and it's still pretty responsive:/

Just keep playing, and be patient. -Steve

Steve how do you stay strong through the trolls my man. I'm starting to feel bad for you. I'm praying for you.

Thanks. -Steve

I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you guys how to run your own business, but why not come up with a whole new designed plastic return top rather than revisit the Yeti? (even though its got new specs and all.)

Because the Yeti never got a fair shot. We only had one full production run and it was a hot mess, with tons of problems with the parts and assembly. We would like the opportunity to do it right, and make the return top that we always wanted it to be. -Steve

Can you talk to us about Igloo ? Is it good ? What it feel ? Etc ..

I don't have one yet, so I can't really give you much detail. Other than the fact that Kurti says it's the best return top he's ever played with in his entire life, and we are stoked as hell about that. -Steve

Thank you CLYW for doing an awesome job on the Big Dipper, absolutely loving it! Out of curiosity, would the artwork on the Big Dipper wear off?

Thanks, glad you like it!
The artwork is pad printed and heat treated. It will wear off eventually, but should be pretty durable. -Steve

How does Alec take the photos where he is throwing a yoyo in the air without the yoyo dinging? Also, do you know what is camera settings are? Aperture, shutter speed, etc? Thanks!

He has a catapult thing set up that shoot the return top at his face, and he just snaps the pic really fast and then ducks. It's quite amazing to watching.
His camera settings are f.19 & 2/3 buttonhook, with a 790mm lens warble. -Steve

Can we ask Ayumu here ? Also can he do tutorials ? I really like him :)

Maybe we'll do an Ask session with Ayumu. I'll have to see how comfortable he is with writing a lot in English. ;) Would love to have him do some tutorials! I'll have to see who in Japan can film for us. -Steve

I have plenty of string so no worries. I was just a lil confused as to why mine didn't have one but thanks anyways! And congratulations on the Big D. It's without a doubt the best plastic I've ever thrown.

Yep, sorry about that. When you test, pack, and ship a thousand return tops super quick, you're gonna make some mistakes. But glad you like the return top! -Steve

You guys should do a run of yoyos were you get he fans to vote on the colour ways for that run. Top voted go on the yoyo

We're kicking around ideas for some fan-voted stuff. Soon. -Steve

Hey Steve! I got a Big Dipper but it came with a ton of vibe. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I don't really want to ask for a replacement because Chris gave it to me and it just seems unfair to ask for a replacement for something I didn't pay for.

Sorry about that! Hit us up at thelodge@clyw.ca. -Steve

Got my bd today. Really impressed with how this plays. super stable for a plastic and feels great on the string. Mine was super smooth out the box too. Keep it up guys!!!!

Glad you like it...thanks for the support! -Steve

A while ago I ordered some kitty string from yoyoexpert and it said it came from Chris Mikulin? Is he like a kitty string dealer

We have had YoYoExpert ship stuff for us in the past, and now every once in a while Chris' name pops up on a mailing label. It's kinda funny. It's like Chris is haunting YoYoExpert's label maker ha ha. -Steve

Love the big dipper, the best plastic I've ever tried!!! The box art is cool too ;)

Thanks! Glad you like it! We're pretty stoked on it. -Steve

Is there anywhere to pick up a big dipper in Edmonton?

Not at the moment, but if you email Chris directly he might be able to help. Hit him up at thelodge@clyw.ca. -Steve

Would you or CLYW ever accept preorders on your throws for future runs? I know that this will probably result in future runs going out of stock before it hits the stores, but I would like to hear your opinions about this:)

Chris and I have talked about the idea of a "collector club" that would allow people to pre-order yoyos from production runs, give them access to super limited colorways, occasional one-offs, first hit at b-grades, etc. The only problem is the amount of work it takes to put together, implement, and maintain something like that...need to figure out a way to do it that is fair, efficient, and doesn't become a huge time suck for me. -Steve
