I remember you saying the BvM2 was discontinued because it was made for somebody who no longer represents the company, or something like that. Who?

It's being discontinued because it's the signature model for Boyd Seth, and he doesn't have any interest in doing anything to promote it. We have a lot of players on our team who deserve a signature return top and don't have one yet, we aren't going to keep making one for an inactive player. -Steve

Have you ever had a problem with bootleggers? What do you think about bootleggers who do CLYW or other stuff?

Not yet, although I'm sure it will happen. So far the only issues we've had are with companies knocking off our colorways, or just generally trying to copy our business model and vibe. It's easy to copy a return top, but their attempts at copying the CLYW feel have fallen quite flat. Good business advice: if you're trying to play by someone else's rules, you've already lost. -Steve

Is the black with copper speckle the Pali edition on the bgradeyoyos site? Usually it is just called black with copper.

Did I screw that up? It's a black with coppery/orangey speckle and splash, which I just always in my head translate to "Palli". I might have gotten that wrong. Sorry. -Steve

I don't think so. This was a full production run of the BvsM2 that never got released because the whole run was just a little bit off. They really do play great, though...good enough that I snagged a couple for myself as my go-to return tops for counterweight. -Steve

hey steve what type of music do you like? also crucial x clyw?

I like lots of stuff. Hard to pin down a genre. Lately it's been LCD Soundsystem, Torche, and David Bowie.

There are a lot of "things crossed with letters in the spaces" logos out there. Ours is more distinctive than most, but it's a common design theme. It has auspicious roots.

ok ok ok, i gots a question. The BvM2 is being killed because the player its a signature for is no longer participating. Wasnt the Avalanche Krisztian Kaluzsa signature? Why is the avalanche still in production loooong after its player has left the team?

The circumstances surrounding Krisztian leaving and Boyd's inactivity are completely different. And, generally speaking, we reserve the right to just sort of handle things in the way we see as the best for the company moving forward. Keeping the Avalanche made sense for us...keeping the BvsM2 doesn't. -Steve
