my duncan imperial out performs the arctic circle
Thanks! I haven't laughed that hard in a while. -Steve
I looked at the prices on the CLYW yoyos. They vary a lot and was wondering why. I het that a signiture yoyo is more expensive, but why is the gnarwhal 2 $20 more expensive than lets say the avalanche or the sasquatch?
They really don't vary that much...we make an effort keep them pretty consistent. Signature models cost a bit more, the pricing tiers are incremental based on the complexity of the anodizing (more colors costs more), and we don't really change model pricing from one run to the next. Is there some specific pricing difference that you're looking at that I can answer more specifically about? -Steve

Any updates on the FGs or 7075 AC2?
Nope and nope. -Steve
Last time I took a picture of CLYW related stuff for Instagram, but instead of uploading it and tagging you guys right away I thought about it for a second. What exactly is it you guys like to see your tag on in IG? Do you actually enjoy pics of your throws or is it getting annoying being tagged?
We like to see our tag on anything that YOU think is awesome. When we look at what people are tagging us in, sometimes it's our products or whatever but sometimes it's just a beautiful sunset or some neat thing that someone thought we would like. I personally like seeing that kind of stuff, because it means our fans are really getting in to the whole vibe of CLYW, and reaching beyond just our products. That makes me happy. -Steve

What string does Zach use? It looks so long in all the videos I've seen
So I just ordered the bonfire for my birthday, since I'm leaving for vacation in like 1and a half weeks, since I know you're probably not gonna have the orca ready by then. But do you think I could hopefully get it next year in June? Like will the orcas still be in production then?
The Orca is going to be in production for a while, don't worry. And we have a huge batch coming just as soon as these &*$(#^% bearings get here. -Steve

Is the pink on the solid bonfire really bright, or is it the same as the picture
It's the same solid pink we've used for a while. Since you haven't linked me to a picture I can't tell you how accurate the picture is...plus who knows what kind of monitor or device you are looking on that picture at? Sorry, not the most awesome answer. -Steve
what's the exact size of your yoyos' response recess?
My micrometer's batteries died, sorry. -Steve
Any chance you will make an undersized Bonfire?
We did! It was called the Campfire. The Bonfire is way better. -Steve

Working on getting Yetis out the door as soon as possible. Thanks for your support! -Steve
Which current CLYW return top plays the fastest?
Depends who is throwing it. The Bonfire is pretty nimble, though. -Steve
It must be a pain to be asked questions that annoy you and such just keep doing what your doing and continue making fantastic return tops :)
I'm just happy to be useful. -Steve

Should I stick with a flat bearing in my Bonfire? I recently put in a KonKave and looking at the gap it's centered but it doesn't look like there's enough room for string layering. It grabs during certain mounts and it holds position but spin dramatically dies out. Is it because of the gao width?
Stick with whatever works for you. I personally never liked KonKave bearings but I know players way better than me who swear by them. -Steve
7075 Bonfire?
Yes? What about it? Adding a question mark doesn't mean you asked a question. -Steve
this was my very first performance on stage! tell me what you think of it :p https://www.facebook.com/todd.bischoff.9/videos/1193971467285158/?l=7237038474553298315
Not bad for a first performance! A couple tips for performing in front of non-players:
- Bigger tricks, slower tricks. They have no idea what they are watching. Make sure they can follow everything!
- Move around, and look up! Make sure you connecting with your audience, not your props.
Keep at it! It takes a loooooong time to really get comfortable on stage and build a good performance routine for non-players. You have a few hundred bad shows to shake out before you get to the good ones. Took me YEARS to get there. Keep at it and have fun! Thanks for sharing. :) -Steve

Hey I didn't think your reply was mean or out of line at all! A lot of the time I think people just like to have a reason to get upset. Keep doing what you're doing man!

Orcas soooooon?
Just waiting on bearings! -Steve
Will there be a restock on Black Bip Bop bucket hats?
Nope. -Steve
when are you going to start offering complimentary syrup with our orders?
I've wanted to do this since the day I started. -Steve
Steve, I am an extreme Yo-Yoer. For an advanced player like me, would you recommend the bonfire, or the Orca? Again I am an unbelievable talented Yo-Yoist so please your advice is necessary #YoYo4Lyfe

I think im gonna get the solid blue bonfire with the campfire engraving that you have at other retailers. Think its a good choice, Steve? :-)
I'm a fan of solid blue. -Steve
I fell really bad knowing that you only get paid for 1 in every 4 hours you work. You should up the Yeti price a tad to help yourselves out because people will still buy them even with a higher price
Don't feel bad. This is what we've chosen. We're putting in the time now to grow this and make it sustainable. This is how it works when you're an entrepreneur. There's a quote that says "We live now like no would else would so that later we can live like no one else can." That is what it means to be an entrepreneur. It would be awesome for CLYW to get bigger but honestly....not too much bigger. It's better as a small company. We are just working to make it a more stable one. -Steve
