Actually it was never the Fools Gold logo. Was just poor planning. The Fools Gold logo is the one that we have on our site. We just used the axes to mark them as fools gold for fun. The axes were already the new logo for CLYW. Thanks for your question! -Chris

is there going to be a new run of borealis in the near future?, i know that the last run just came out not so long ago, but i want to get one for my birthday in two months and although the last run has really nice and creative colorways,there is none of them that i truly love.

I love the way Kurti is taking is style. He has been one of my favorite players for a while and it seems like he is finally finding himself as a player.

Whether it's return tops or music or art or writing, it takes a while to figure out who you are. It's a process, not a destination, and I gotta say...watching Kurti develop has been pretty damn awesome. -Steve

We don't have an estimated date yet, sorry! Working with a new factory means timelines are totally different, plus shipping from China can be a variable, so we don't want to announce even a month and then end up totally wrong. But I promise, as soon as we have a release date we'll announce it far and wide! -Steve

How do you deal with the lame haters?

I try really hard to listen to what they have to say, see things from their point of view, and take it as an opportunity to improve some aspect of the company.
Sometimes a "hater" is just someone who had a bad experience and doesn't understand how to communicate very well so they just get frustrated and flip out. The fact that they are over-reacting or handling the situation inappropriately shouldn't devalue the legitimacy of their problem. You just have to learn the difference between bad communication and bad people, and give everyone the benefit of the doubt first.
I've found that CLYW truly has very, very few actual "haters". Mostly we just have people who aren't super familiar with the brand or the product who are expecting one thing and get another, and then just don't understand how to communicate their frustration in an acceptable manner. If I'm patient with them, try to understand their side of things, and do my best to solve their problem, 99% of the time they calm down super quick. Most of them even apologized for all the nasty names they called me, after I was able to solve their problem. Most of them. ;) -Steve

It will be made of 6061 aluminum. The goal of the Manatee is to rock and roll all night, and party every day. -Steve

what do you think of the whole hasbro "blazing team" yoyo line? Do you think it has potential for the community to get noticed?

I have a full set of them here. It's interesting for sure. They're sponsoring Worlds, which I think is an awesome step in the right direction of supporting the community.
Not sure that the point of a mass market promotion is to get the community "noticed" though. I think more it's to bring people into the community. A slight distinction, but I think an important one. -Steve

Got my Igloo today, it binds like CRAZY - bearing seems fine/unresponsive - are these the usual snow tires?

If the Snow Tires in yours are white or light blue then yes, they are the regular ones. We are working on some new colors of Snow Tires, although they shouldn't play any differently. But it's silicone rubber, so it's an imperfect material and thickness may vary from one pad to the next. Usually not much, but sometimes you get a fat one. Just keep playing it, they should break in and smooth out! -Steve
