Please do a gun metal run of the summit and do the logos in flat black... That'd look so sick with red string. You know what else would be fantastic? The yeti in cotton candy colors.. Ohhh kill it.
The axle in my Saskatoon Chief is 15mm but the one in my Bonfire and another non 7075 is way longer
Bonfire uses the short axle, Chief uses the long one. Not entirely sure how many more ways I can say that. I have no idea what you have in your return tops or where you got them. But, we assemble the Chief with the long axle and the Bonfire with the short one.
What is the process when it comes to naming a new return top?
We keep a stack of index cards with possible names for return tops. When it's time for a new one, we hurl them out into the yard and grab our trusty set of lawn darts...
i read that the the first splash colorway was the green / grey one on the first bear vs man. is that true? what was the first splash colorway clyw has ever done?
The original Bear vs. Man was the first CLYW model to use splash ano, and probably the first "modern" metal return top. But the Tom Kuhn Silver Bullet 2 beat everyone to the splash game. They were doing it in 1999.
I like Canadian bacon (ham) and pineapple pizza, maple syrup on my actual bacon, snow, shin kicking, and return tops.... u think that qualifies me to be an honorary Canadian?
If you can smile and say "sorry", you're already an honorary Canadian.
How do you weigh the yoyo? With everything? EX: Response pads, bearing, axle, two halves. Or do you weigh it by leaving the response pad in and weighing both of the halves?
That's actually in the queue for our next release! They are at the anodizer now, although I think I heard he was a bit backed up. So probably about a month?
How do you guys get the pictures of the yoyo colorways you post on instagam. They all have identical backgrounds and all are looking down at the same angle on the yoyo. Do you have a program or something? Or are you guys just that good at taking pictures?
It's not actually that hard....we just take pictures in the same place every time, and try to do it around the same time of day on a sunny day.
About what percent of the yoyo community do you think still think that clareview station is 'clear view'? I see people call it Clearview all the time and it just makes me giggle.
