Just wanted to say the new colors are horrible. Just hope the company I love go downhill.

Our colors have changed constantly through the entire history of the company. And every single time, people have complained about it. And every single time, they stop complaining and learn to love them. And then we change them again and start the whole process over.
If you really wish failure on us just because you don't like a few colors, I guess you were never really a fan to begin with. -Steve

Regarding MN tourny, I saw it on your events page so was hoping to meet you guys! What tourneys does your team compete in?

CLYW? We don't have an events page. YoYoNews has one, but it's not listed because I never got dates. Now I'm hella confused.
Our team competes all over the place...just kinda depends on time, budget, and how big the contest. Zach won the US Nationals and 44 Clash last year, Michael Kurti and Andrew Maider tear up North East Regionals every year, we have a handful of players make it out to Cal States, BAC, and PNWR each year, and we're planning on another big presence at Worlds in Tokyo. -Steve

I love the bonfire and chief. The wm2 is kinda... Meh for me. Will I like the scout or orca more? Because of course I'm getting both.

It would, but Petr didn't want it. The first run of splash Scouts are a bunch of new colorways. Neat stuff, too! -Steve

the new colourway looks almost like YYF colourway... it feels weird... it almost feels like CLYW is losing something important that defines themselves. I maybe wrong but what do you think steve?

I think you're definitely wrong, but mostly because I don't think you're looking at these in context. You're looking at our most recent colorways, and then comparing new colorways directly to those. You aren't thinking at all about how much our return tops have changed visually over the past 9 years. Look at the painted Peak...there is absolutely nothing in our current line that looks anything like that, and yet that is the look that launched CLYW and defined the original aesthetic of the company.
Then we shifted to splash ano, which at the time pretty much no one was doing. And our splash ano has changed dramatically over time. And will continue to change.
These new colorways don't look like our current line, but only because our current line sat for a while and got kinda stale. It was time to start moving things forward again with some new ideas. That doesn't mean we're getting rid of the current colorways, but it's definitely time to freshen things up.
Every company changes and grows, and if it doesn't then it dies. The important thing about CLYW is not the color of our return tops...it's the stories we tell, the quality we produce, the amazing team we support, and the value that we provide for the return top community and industry. -Steve
