Does all clyw team members have to speak English? And how good of a yoyoer do you have to be to make the team?

Well, it certainly helps if they want to talk to Chris or I, ha ha. As for skill, we look for people who are really good but also have the capacity and drive to contribute in other ways. Video, photography, helping other players, etc. -Steve

clyw is so cool. I get such a good vibe from you guys and every day i think about how awesome it would be to meet you guys someday, and i realized im going to nats:) Keep up the work, thanks a lot

Thanks! We're just a bunch of nerds who love return tops and making more of them. Hope to see you at Nats! -Steve

you should tell aaron davis to film more yoyo videos

He will! He's been CRAZY busy with non-return top life stuff but I chatted with him the other day and once things level out for him a little he'll be back with some fresh new material. -Steve

Do you guys also pay your players? Like YoyoFactory? Because YoyoFactory told me that they pay depending on how the players do at contests, which I don't think is right.

Yes, our team members are paid for a variety of contributions. -Steve

How do you feel about delrin as a company and as Steve/Chris

There is no point. It costs just as much to produce as aluminum but without any of the benefits of aluminum. -Steve

What clothing brand does Zach wear most often?

I wouldn't really say I'm loyal to any brands but I like simple clothes that fits and looks good. -Zach

Why does zach like melee so much and does he have any tips on how to take good pictures

I probably don't play melee as much as people think but I'm drawn to it because of the speed, depth, and difficulty involved. For photography just Google "basic rules of photo composition". -Zach

I feel like people are leaving companies, and joining companies too frequently and easily. Not the clyw team but, like colin beckford just joined Duncan about 3 months ago, and hes already moved on to join Recess. And there are a bunch of others too. What do you think?

I can't speak to anyone else, but I can say that Colin was working towards being on the Duncan team for a long time while Brandon Jackson was running it, and then got on just as Augie had taken over. When it takes you a while to get where you are going, it isn't always the same place when you get there.
The issue seems less a matter of people joining/leaving teams "too quickly" and more a matter of most manufacturers really having no idea what the hell they want out of their teams, and thus not communicating it very well to the players they are courting...so once the players end up on the team, it's not at all what they thought it would be. -Steve
