What does the color way 28 stories mean to you?
This colorway means a lot to me. I was flying back home from my very first worlds in 2007 and was writing down colorways that I wanted to test on the back of a customs form. I had with me the book 28 Stories of AIDS in Africa as my ex at the time was in Africa for 6 weeks so I heard this was a great book and picked it up.
Anyways, the cover had blue sky and white clouds with red text. I loved the combo so I knew this was what I wanted to try and wanted to do something with the proceeds and give back to a cause. So when I got home I ordered a run of 45 Peaks in this color.
Then a few days later my ex and I broke up. Was a weird emotional time. But ya I wanted to do something special and give back and that color was so amazing. I even emailed the author to ask her if we could use the name and she helped me pick a charity. -Chris

why would i ever pay full price for a brand new clyw when i can get a bgrade that plays just as well?
You *can* get a b-grade that plays just as well. But more often you can also get a b-grade that doesn't.
And if we run 250 return tops, there are usually no more than a dozen b-grades. So if you thought it was hard to get the CLYW model you want in the color you want when you were going after it at full price, good luck chasing down that one b-grade when I randomly drop them in the store with no notice, ha ha. -Steve

How many yetis are expected in this release?
100-250 I would guess. Depends on how assembly goes. -Chris
Instead of making plastic yoyos like everyone else you could make a hard rubber yoyo (its durable and strong)

Do you guys make slight variations between runs? Clyw.ca currently says has the chief's stats listed as D: 56.5, W: 43.6, and 66.5g. I took a screenshot of the stats listed on YYE of the chief I bought last year and the stats are listed as W: 44.47, 66.0g and the same 56.5 diameter. Just curious
Probably due to measurement error. But could also be a small variance in machining. 0.003" can slightly change the weight. Just depends who is measuring and what tools they are using. - Chris

I recently tried your slackline string and really like it. Any thoughts of doing some batches to match your signature colorways (example - hulk smash, clearview station, ash berry, 28 stories). Any thoughts on selling slackline in 50/100 packs?
It's all handmade for us in small batches, so we can't really offer 100 packs at any price better than just buying 10 packs of 10, unfortunately. I wish we could do it in bulk! It's fantastic! -Steve
