CLYW isn't even a full-time job for Chris, Alec, or me. We all have other jobs. Our team makes a few good bucks on the side but no, not a career option. Not yet, anyway. -Steve

What are the differences between the Scout and Bonfire? I thought there was a video the Chris made on the differences but I can't find it. Thanks
They're completely different return tops. The Scout is loosely based on the Chief and the Bonfire. The Bonfire is an up-sized version of the Campfire, a short-live mini return top that we made. It's a sharp v-profile with a narrow rim, and it's one of our faster moving throws. The Scout takes a bit of that profile and speed but combines it with the comfy rims of the Chief and a very different weight distribution. -Steve
I saw the preview for borealis's new colorway for spingear, and not all the swirls are on the picture. Does every shop get all swirls variant, or each store get different variant? If so, where will the wood grain be?
I don't have details on which stores got which color, sorry. Your best bet would be to contact the stores you normally buy from and ask them what colors they will have available. -Steve
can I put snowtires in a campfire?
Yes, but I think the Campfire was designed pre-Snow Tires so they are probably going to stick up a little bit. I think people have found pads from other companies that work a little better for the older CLYW designs that were meant for flowable silicone, although I don't know what they are off the top of my head. I think it was GeneralYo pads, stacked? -Steve

His usual setup is a Canon 6D with 24mm f/1.4L. He also uses a 50mm 1.2 for a decent bit of stuff. -Steve
As someone who aspires to be a sponsored player, hopefully for you guys, I'd like to ask, what does that entail for the average player? I know you get all the street cred, and some Yoyos in the mail every so often, but how much? If it changes per player, generalize. Thanks ahead of time!
It varies by player, but you get gear, travel expenses, royalties on signature models, a big promotional platform for what you're doing, paid for creating video content, and other personalized perks. Different companies handle it differently. -Steve

Zach is one of the least active team members. Why so?
Zach has a lot of other responsibilities outside of return tops and being on our team, and his life is a constant balancing act in trying to find time for all of them. He's neck-deep in school right now and honestly...we tell each and every single member of our team that school is WAY more important that contests, and have even gone so far as to specifically tell team members to stay home and study for exams instead of attending contests that were a little too close to their testing schedule.
The things our team does outside of return top are what make them so wonderful and talented and awesome when they point those energies towards CLYW. So when they have other things going on, we support them 100%. -Steve

Why do your yoyos have nipples in the hubs when they aren't that fingerspin friendly? I think if your yoyos had much more fingerspin friendly hubs they would sell much better
