Steve do your and Chris kids throw if so how good are they?

Chris' kids are still too young. My son throws a little...he can do some basic tricks. My daughter is just starting to get interested. -Steve

How would you describe how the puffin 1 plays?

Fast, fairly stable, and really smooth from what I remember. I don't actually have one.
It's a nice return top, but as I recall it's nowhere near as good as the Puffin 2. -Steve

What is the first claw I should get?(Including Advanced scout)

Start off with one of these Fools Gold. (http://bgradeyoyos.com) It's a cheap way to get a feel for our products before you spend the money on a full price return top. Plus these are really nice! -Steve

Hey Steve what was your worst yoyo inflicted injury? (pic?)

I don't have pics, but the first time I ever threw a ball-bearing yoyo I straight up knocked myself out. It was a Raider, and I thought I needed to throw it as hard as a wood axle...came back as soon as it hit the string because of how thickly lubed the bearing was and cracked me right in the bean. -Steve

What colorways of the fools good bvm2s are most likely to play the smoothest (like a grades)?

All of them. As I've mentioned before, this whole run is really good and just a *tiny* bit off. -Steve

what do u like better solid gold, concrete blizzard, or 28 stories?

I personally always lean towards solid colors. I'm old and boring. -Steve

How many FG Solid Gold BvM2 are up for sale?

We've got about 60 left. This batch of Fool's Gold was an entire production run, unfortunately. It's one of the perils of running a tiny return top company...sometimes you lose an entire production run to vibe or anodizing or engraving. :( -Steve

Normally I try to take any constructive criticism from our fans pretty seriously but it sounds to me like you just want us to post product photos and sales info 24/7? That's crazy talk. CLYW is so much more than just the stuff we make...it's the people who make it and the lives we lead. I wish I could apologize for something, but our Instagram account is rad. what if someone bought a clyw yoyo in 2011 never opened it. But opened it for the first time in 2014 and it was messed up, vibed really bad, ano flaws etc... could they return it to the store they bought it from still???

I don't know of any store that is going to offer returns on supposedly unopened 3-year old inventory. That's kind of insane. -Steve

Steve, which of the two scout releases do you personally like more for 1a and 5a?

I really like the Advance Scout so far, but haven't played with the final version yet. So far though, this is gearing up to be my favorite of the CLYW line. -Steve

44CLASH swag is hard to come by. Do you know where I can get shirts and stuff? Yoyoexpert just released some shirts from a different brand but WAY overpriced.

All 44Clash merch is expensive, because it's made in small quantities in Japan. They use good quality stuff, though. I meant to buy one of the hoodies while I was there and by the time I made it to the table they were sold out. :( -Steve
