Is the 28 stories colorway going to be in continued production for the foreseeable future? It's absolutely gorgeous.

We've been running it for a while now, and have no plans to stop. :) -Steve

False advertising. I'm disappointed. I spent $85 on a yoyo that was advertised as B grade, but instead I got an A grade throw. Why advertise one thing and sell another??? Ugh. I'm gonna go drink more syrup.

Sorry. We'll do better next time. -Steve

What should I expect from the 2015 lineup(Not advanced scout), should I wait for the line up, or get the advanced scout? My parents will only let me pick one yoyo.

We just got photos of the finished prototype for Harrison's new return top. Chris and I are betting we won't even need to make any changes....it looks fantastic. Chuck's got one on the table that suits his style perfectly, and Chris just told me this via iMessage. 2015 is gonna be crazy.

Any solids in the next run of Gnarlwhals and Wooly Marmot 2s? And when will we be getting more Hulk Smash versions?

Moving forward, we're going to try and do some solids in every single run. We get a ton of request for them, and since they are less expensive it makes it a little easier for people to get their hands on our return tops. So, we're gonna try and include at least a color or two of solids in every run moving forward. ;) -Steve

if the advanced scout a combo of the chief, and the bonfire, why isn't it floaty?

Because the weight distribution is different. Petr wanted something that played fast but he needed extra stability for counterweight play, so we moved the weight around a bit to give him what he wanted. The Scout still plays fairly fast and light, but not as much as a Chief. -Steve

what do the inner rings on the chief, Arctic circle, advanced scout, ect do.

It changes the weight distribution of the return top, allowing it to maintain enough rim weight for long spins and stability, while moving some of it just a little further inward in order to smooth out the "landing" of the return top when you throw it. The double ring helps balance the return top in a way that it doesn't clunk at the end of the string and lets it play nice and fast no matter the weight. -Steve

I'm canadian and I've been wanting to go to a competition for a while now so my question is what are some canadian competitions and when and where are they held?

That's a hard question to answer unfortunately! I found this page made by a friend in Vancouver:

Those are the contests that happen; but if you want dates you'll have to do a search (maybe facebook) every once in a while to see when it will be, because I don't think that they get dates up until a few months before. - Charles

Chuck mojo is that magic you have when you throw an return top and how you're just a rad person in general

Thanks man! And thanks for helping me keep in touch with the modern slang and such! - Charles

Charles, what do you like about the Bonfire & Wooly Marmot 2?

The Bonfire plays light and has a very soft/cushiony feel to it on the string.
The Wooly Marmot 2 is a cool shape and size with a unconventionally solid feel to it. Atleast that's what I can gather! - Charles

PLOT TWIST: charles is actually a French name and is pronounced as such

charlemagne is what my french homeboys would call me, haha - Charles

Chuck, have you used the Chief for extended periods?

I used a raw chief for a minute 2/3 years ago. But it's not a feel that I personally gravitate towards. - Charles

How did the Bushmen colorway come about?

Me and Chris collaborating back and forth! It was my signature colour way, and I'm from South Africa so I pulled from the history there. The Bushmen are just about the dopest people in my opinion.
As far as colours go I thought that a sandy red, soft tan, and light blue could be fitting to the landscapes there.

My favorite throw is the Chief, and I'm looking for another CLYW that has a similar floaty feel to it, what would you suggest? Would the Bonfire or Scout be good choices?

Well the Bonfire definitely has more of that soft/floaty feel to it, much more so than the chief even. The scout is more of a solid animal. - Charles

Hey Chuck! what is the centripitalforce? A new throw?

Centripitalforce is an old yoyojam throw. I think I won it in a prize like 3/4 years ago somewhere and I really loved the feel of that throw. super fun - Charles

Will CLYW release any more 7075 runs in the future? Would love some for my collection

Yes, although we're still just planning and haven't decided what will become available in 7075 yet. -Steve
