Not bad. I picked up a chest cold over the past week and yesterday it fully manifested itself so I'm kinda miserable right now. But overall, things are pretty damn ok. Thanks for asking. ;) -Steve
I recently just bought a FG Tundra and I must say that it is amazing. I was just wondering if you could tell me what full ceramic bearing was that you put in the AMS Tundra? I wanted to get one to try out in my Fools Gold. Thank you in advance.
Not sure exactly where those came from...it's something that Jeffrey sourced for the original Evora. They aren't the best bearings but the fact that you can clean them with soap and water is pretty awesome! I know they are expensive...like $25-$30 each from the factory, so retail price on them would be like $50, which is pretty crazy for a bearing. If you want to hit up Jeffrey and ask, you can reach him via his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/luftverk. -Steve
No plans to film any (translation: no time to film any ha ha) but maybe I'll get around to it. For now though, here are like 600 tricks of mine for you to dig through: http://365yoyotricks.com/tag/steve-brown/
Just wanted to ask a couple of questions:
1. Is the Scout any better performance-wise than the Compass?
2. Does the Scout have a better finish than the Compass?
3. Does the Compass grind like the Manatee?
4. If the mass of an apple is 5 grams, what is the mass of the earth?
Oop, no peeking!
1. No. 2. No. 3. No, the Compass grinds like the Compass. Different shapes will always perform differently. 4. Seven terraflops of vibe. -Steve
I just got a peak today and mind blown! I still remember 10 years ago I'm still playing with the Auldey Fire warrior, great job guys! Can't wait for the revised one! :D
What's the difference between the original 2010 Sasquatch and the 2014 redesign? What are the inspirations for the newest possible version? It's cool seeing how yoyos evolve.
The newer one has better weight distribution. Feels more balanced and not as rim heavy. -Chris
which yoyo took the longest time from design to production and which took the least?
Besides plastics which take the longest due to manufacturing and assembly it was probably the Compass that took the longest. We had the first prototype in February and then released in August. Took a while to get that one out, but we wanted it to be perfect and made 3 prototypes. Quickest was the Summit. -Chris
