What is the advance scout? The prototype one or the official production one?
Im not hating but I really loved a lot of your guys is old marketing like the clyw tag that came with your throws, all the stickers that came with them, all the other neat little things you guys used to do.
We're moving back towards that with the Instagram prints that came with our last two releases, new buttons and stickers that will come with future releases, and the patches that are coming with the Advance Scout and Scout. -Steve

How do you film cabin tutorials? Any tips on filming the yoyo and string clearly against a dark background? I've seen other people filming yoyo videos in dark but they're either too difficult to see because of too little lighting or too bright... I really want to see a "making of" cabin tutorials!

haha. well thanks for the compliment, but nothing has changed. Yoyoing is still a fun hobby of mine that I especially like to do after a long day to unwind; and like making videos too. The only difference is that now I have new friends and I am lucky enough to get to hang out with the team every once in a while. - Charles
The scout looks really similar to the chief. What part about it is like the bonfire, or just different from the chief?
It's got the profile and wall groove of the Bonfire but the rims of the Chief. Weight distribution is halfway beteween the Bonfire and the Chief, and the final version of the Scout will have the pointed posts of the Bonfire as well. The Advance Scout's cup profile is sort of a truncated Chief, and the final Scout will have a cup profile more similar to the Bear vs Man 2. It really is a fantastic hybrid of Petr's favorite CLYW return tops. -Steve
Which colorway do you like better: concrete blizzard or orange blizzard?
I personally dig the Orange Blizzard more, mostly because orange doesn't get enough love on return tops. -Steve

I've heard "of" them but don't really know much. I'd give them the same advice as any other fledgling company...find your voice, don't copy other people's brand or marketing or designs, be true to your fans, and never promise more than you can deliver. -Steve

Hey guys. I have a problem. I can't seem to get any better. I do the same tricks whenever I grab my yoyo, and I don't know what tricks to learn next. I want to become pro but I can't do that if I'm not good enough. What can I do to fix this? Also what do I need to do to to continue progressing?
It's different for everyone, but the best advice I can give you is for you to move out of your comfort zone. Work on different styles of play, try things that you aren't any good at, force yourself to be creative by doing stuff that you just don't know how to do. -Steve

They don't. They do silver plating, which is about as close as you can get to white without paint or powder coating. -Steve
