Hi clyw i ordered a gold time alec cambell bonfire.When i open the box,I find that the return top is quite dirty with black dust and stain in certain area. It took me quite awhile to wipe almost all of it out but some just refuse to come out. Hope you guys could improve on the storage part.
Oh no! We're really sorry about this! Thank you so much for bringing this up :) Sounds like this could be residue from after anodizing. I brought this up with assembly and we'll keep a closer eye on things. What do you think of the 5A division now? Do you think any of the newer guys are going to take it far, or is it going to crash and die? What players do you enjoy watching, and why?
There are still some great players in 5A, but the division/category as a whole is just dead as disco. I hear rumblings that "Oh, we're going to do some big 5A promotion soon" but I've been hearing that for 5 years now and nothing has happened.
Few more years and the patent will expire, and then maybe we'll see something. Hopefully. -Steve

If you mean the threads inside the return top half itself, there's nothing you can do. It's trash now.

Gotta manage my christmas-yoyo-funds. Do you think there will be any upcoming splash releases (Scout, Borealis) before this year ends?
Should be more Borealis in splash, hopefully. Maybe some Orcas too. Hard to say...our production pipeline is messy right now, but we're working on clearing it up. -Steve

did you guys finalize the blizzard yet or are you still going through prototypes?
Still waiting on the second prototypes to arrive. The recess for the response pads wasn't quite right on the first ones...everything should be sorted out now but we ran protos *just* to be sure. Once those arrive and we can approve them, we'll sign off on production. Don't expect we'll see these until January/February at this point. -Steve
