any tips unscrewing apart yoyos? my ac2 cant seem to screw apart (i never screwed it apart yet)

I'm curious, what was the thought process behind the orca? Was it built from the ground up as Harrison's new design, was there a yoyo(s) used as a starting point? The orca was, and still is a smash success, and is my favourite throw. (what about them habs, eh? Bummer)

It was built from the ground up as a collaborative effort between Harrison and Chris. They had a few meet-ups on Skype and Chris would screen share with Harrison and make changes in real-time. It's a fun process...Chris and I worked out a couple of return tops while I was there and it's a neat way to collaborate. -Steve

How well do fg's play?

They play fine. They just aren't always perfectly smooth like our production models. Mostly they just have minor problems with the anodizing and still play smooth, though. -Steve

Is there any chance of the official CLYW site having a list of colorways available in each run of return tops in the future? Not for past runs but for future ones as they are released? "What run was this from?" or "what colors were in run X?" seem like pretty common questions

It's just entirely too much for us to keep up with. And since colorways are repeated between runs of the same model, then we have to find a way to explain what run looked like what...it's just a logistical nightmare.
Honestly, we aren't super sure why people are worried about which runs things came from. I mean, some colorways are definitely rarer than others but that has nothing to do with the run. It's not something that we as a company have the time/resources to track and catalog, and it's not something that as return top players Chris or I have ever worried about. Since we are both pretty much slammed 24/7 with work and family, added a huge layer of detail to this is something that might be fine if we were a much younger company, but at this point there are 9 years worth of runs that we've never kept track of and starting now is actually just going to be harder. Sorry! -Steve

I'm a japanese yoyoer and a big fan of you over 6 years. I am always surprised by beautiful colorways you made! Do you have any plans to make shiny colorway like 1st run gold Chief?

Nothing planned in that particular gold...we've moved to a finish that is a bit less shiny. -Steve

With the new orcas just being released (may2). When do you expect to ship out of the new orcas?
