1. Will Yetis release after the Wooly Marmot 2's or before them?
2. Will there be any b-grade Wooly Marmot 2's in the next batch of fool's golds?
3. Which models will be in the fool's gold drop in February?
1. After. 2. No idea, I don't have a FG count yet. 3. You'll see.
Where those yetis in your Snapchat story?;) (on the desk)
So the 10th anniversary is coming up. It would be sho dope if you guys made 50 more peaks, and have Levi do the opposite colorway, solid blue with white mountains... I doubt it haha. Anything special planned?
Man, we're never gonna shake this "sho dope" thing are we? Thanks Jensen. We're kicking around some ideas for the 10th Anniversary, but nothing solidified yet. -Steve
I'm gonna recommend that you type "UV blacklight" into Amazon.com's search bar and then sort through the results and find what you are looking for, instead of asking me to do it for you. I think it'll be faster that way. -Steve
Not asking you to spoil it but during your phone meeting did you guys establish a date that the yetis are going to be released for sure?( all im looking for is yes or no haha)
No, but we did make a decision that is going to get Yetis moving again REALLY soon. :) -Steve
I saw on CLYW Facebook page that you guys have some artwork done for you by Paul Escolar. Does it not bother CLYW, who is definitely a family friendly brand that almost all of Escolars art is for mature audiences? All of his artwork I have seen is VERY graphic.
Actually, very little of Paul's art is for "mature audiences". Paul's art is on the box for the Chief, he created the illustration of Yogi that we used for our stickers, and he drew our pickaxe logo. I'm currently working with him to clean up our branding guidelines for 2015, and he's not only a friend but one of the single most valuable resources the return top community has, at least for anyone who cares about brand integrity. I think maybe you've seen some of his raunchier sketchbook stuff about life in the Bay Area and mistaken that for "almost all" of his work. The image below is one of my favorite Paul Escolar illustrations. It's hanging up in my children's room.
