That release of AC2 and Puffin on your site though! I'm guessing it's what was left of previous runs?

Yep...we squirreled away a few pieces. There were literally just one of each color available. -Steve

YoYoExpert thought that it would make it more fair, and give more people a chance to scoop them up. We agree. -Steve

just an idea you should hide a yeti logo on your website and the first to find it gets a free yeti

Neat idea. -Steve

it sucks that the yeti drop is about luck now

Since when is "pay attention to this place and we'll tell you when some are available" about luck? It's about who is paying attention. -Steve

what are the requirements to get sponsored by you by any chance? I know I wouldn't be getting a sponsorship anytime soon and definitely not by a big of a company as you, nevertheless I would love to know how people would be able to.

We don't have a specific "set" of requirements. We just look for people who are doing awesome stuff, and are good, kind people and have a really noticeable spark of creativity. We look for good folks who we want to hang out with, and then we hang out with them and then maybe if it seems like a good deal for both of us we sponsor them. But they have to bring value to CLYW...look at our current team. Everyone brings something amazing to CLYW. -Steve

why is it more expensive for canadians to get a canadian made yoyo than americans?

Because we're shipping them from the US. -Steve

why is shipping in canada more expensive thn shipping to the US? aren't you based in canada?

The company is based in Canada, but all our product/warehousing/shipping is handled from the US. -Steve

If I wear a clyw pickaxe t shirt to a contest, will you guys maybe think that Im trying too hard to get sponsored or something,so you wont ever sponsor me?because im worried if maybe people will laugh that im trying to be like the team, when im not actually sponsored.i want wear it cuz i love bonfir

...or we might just think "Oh neat, that kid is wearing our shirt! Thanks man!" -Steve

who are the players on the clyw team that are competing at IYYC? can I ask them questions about tricks?

I know Dennis Cinquegrani is going...haven't heard about anyone else. You're more than welcome to ask Dennis about tricks, hit him up on Facebook. -Steve

When's the next run of bbb

We're going to do some for the Scout. After that the next BBB will be for Zach's new return top. -Steve

When is the next run of Bonfires? Solid colors, or are there some awesome colorways in there?

Shipping to retailers now, give them a week or so? Solid and splash. -Steve

I keep hearing 19mm pads being called K-Pads (from TP), CBC Slim pads (from YYF), and all sorts of other names for the same thing. A) What's the difference between them? B) Who was the first company to use 19mm pads?

The difference is material, and companies feeling like they need to name things that often don't need special names. ;)
No idea who was first, but that diameter of response pad/groove has been around for a while. -Steve

Hey Steve I've been trying to yoyo in public recently but I keep getting this embarrassed feeling because many people perceive skill toys as only for children. Do you have any advice for getting out of this mentality?

You need to learn the valuable lesson of not giving a **** what other people think about the things you love. Seriously. Love what you love, and never let anyone else's opinion of it sway you. -Steve

Will you have new run of scouts/orcas/yetis at christmas?

Christmas is a long way away. No idea what will be ready then. -Steve
