Orca is light, fast, big, and has fat rims that feel good. Really stable, but still with long spin times. Not sure how Chris did that. He's magical.
Advance Scout is halfway between the Chief and the Bonfire. Still pretty stable, moves more like a Bonfire but more stable than either the Bonfire or Chief.
Scout is even more stable than the Advance Scout, and a little faster. More refined.
I've only seen your video part in Bay Area Comrades so I'm really not all that familiar with your play. Sorry. -Steve

What makes a return top more stable? More weight on the outer rim or more weight towards the centre/inside the cup? Basically, how does return top weight distribution affect performance?

Stability comes from center weight, spin time comes from rim weight. Finding the balance is pretty tricky. -Steve

Thoughts on a titanium return top?

It's almost guaranteed that we would lose money on making one. YoYoFactory is currently offering pre-orders for a full-size titanium return top at only $200 each, which is probably half of what we'd have to charge, and they only have orders in so far for 39 of them.
Would we love to do one? Oh, absolutely! Would it be a success? Highly doubtful. Are we going to do it anyway? Ha ha....maybe! -Steve

I want to get a CLYW yoyo? This is my first one, which one should i get?

I tend to recommend the Chief as anyones first CLYW. It really gives you the best feel for our aesthetic, our play quality, and it's Chris' favorite so it's a perfect representative of the brand. -Steve

Is 28 stories a color way that collectors like more than usual?

It's definitely a fairly popular one. We have a few colorways that have definitely stood the test of time...Hulk Smash, 28 Stories, Clareview Station, Jack Rabbit are all pretty popular. -Steve

I love my Puffin 2 and AC2. I plan to get a WM2 soon. After that, I only have funds for 1 more. Should I get an Orca or Bonfire?

Why would someone need multiples of a single yoyo?

For competitors, it's good to have backups of your main throw. Other people just zero in on what they like and stock up so they'll always have one. Other people are just collectors and want that one model they love in every color. -Steve
