Do you think you can do a yoyo-designer workshop? Get some people together, make an event, and teach people how to make awesome yoyos like you do?

We've actually thought about it! The main problem is just time....Chris is crazy busy with his family and a full-time job. It would be cool to do a live Google Hangout where you can watch Chris design a yoyo live, maybe in different installments. One of these days!

How many sherpas has has Yeti "accidentally" eaten?

Why would I eat a sherpa? They bring snacks up the mountain for me.

Are you guys going to be around the calgary area anytime soon?

not that i know of, calgary is dope though.

I'm designing a yoyo, and whenever I make a slant or a curve, I feel bad when it's left as a plain, sharp angle. Do you usually make very small arcs, or do you just leave the angles?

It's your return top...don't feel bad about designing what YOU want. Don't worry about what we do...make the return top you've always wanted to throw.

From that question on your Facebook, I would snatch a Purple Teeth Canvas. I have the photo you posted a long time ago on the CLYW page. I have it on my Iphone wallpaper and computer wallpaper. Please make more in that color , I would cry all day if I ever got one.

Thanks!
We're talking about bringing back some older colorways...just not sure yet which ones.

Damn, you guys seem so much nicer than the guys that answer the questions on the yoyofactory ask fm. Go CLYW! :D

Thanks! The YoYoFactory folks are plenty nice though. We have some good friends over there.

What do you think of yoyoofficer . Their yoyos are really similar to yours. I think they're mocking you.

We don't think of them. We focus on what we are doing, not what others are doing.

My puffin snags up on me whenever I do ninja vanishes, any tips to make sure that doesn't happen very often?

A clean, unresponsive bearing helps a lot. Also, that trick gets finicky if you're using a fatter string, like Kitty String Fat.

Who do you think does better machining; you, or Onedrop?

We don't do any machining, and One Drop does all of our machining.

I'm getting tired with these thirsty kids pretending to be on your team. Blasphemy

It's always super flattering that people love our brand so very, very much. We really do appreciate it!
But it's very disrespectful to our actual team to pretend to be one of them when you are not. Our team has worked really, really hard to earn their sponsorship, and continue to work really hard to keep it. We have some of the most talented players in the world representing CLYW...it's a great thing for someone to aim for as a goal, but simple saying that you "represent CLYW" doesn't make it so. We hope that anyone who aspires to be on the CLYW team understands and respects that.

How often does wind, humidity, sweat, ect come into play while competing outdoors?

Pretty often. There are things you can do to compensate (gloves counter humidity and sweat, for example) but mostly it's a battle.
