Have you guys worked on the Harrison's signature at all? Also the bearing in my new bonfire got scratchy the 1st day is it just breaking in

The design for Harrison's signature is done, and his prototypes should be ready for testing in time for Las Vegas Open. For the bearing, contact the store you brought it from and they can send you a replacement. -Steve

'Ey uncle Steve, how's the Advanced Scout treating you for 5A stuff? Since the specs are likely to change for the production model, are there any specific qualities you guys are trying to maintain?

It's really nice! The changes are small but there's a noticeable tweak to weight distribution that should speed it up just a hair, plus the cosmetic change of switching from the Chief post to the Bonfire post. -Steve

Nope the edges aren't sharp. The two just have different personalities, no one is better for a first throw than the other. - Charles

I'm wondering what kind of stuff I should put in my yoyo routine for a competition. What should I look for in my tricks?

It depends what you care about more. Personally I wouldn't do anything I don't like doing offstage. Do the tricks you think is dopest and then just work on transitions, freestyle composition, music, and consistency; that's my advice at least (coming from a terrible competitor). - Charles

Why were the peak and the BVM2 discontinued? What do you take into account when discontinuing return tops? There's definitely a growing demand.

The Peak was discontinued because the design wasn't relevant anymore. CLYW had moved on and Chris got better at designing return tops.
The BvsM was discontinued to make room for the BvsM2. The BvsM2 was discontinued because we're not gonna make signature models for people who refuse to promote them. -Steve
