is tomas vyletel part of the team now?

Nope. Just a promising player that we hook up from time to time. If he was part of the team he would be listed on our site (http://clyw.ca/team/) and we would have made an announcement. -Steve

Hello! So for my PowerPoint project where can I get in touch with Zach Gormley for some additional info about him? CLYW Bios are great by the way! Project is due by Monday (11th)

Best to get in touch with him via Facebook. -Steve

When does the Big Dipper release? When does the Blizzard release? When does the Igloo release? When does the yo-yo after the Igloo Release? What colors will all of them be available in? And... Oh yeah! What do I have to do to get sponsored?

Big Dipper - No date set. This month, though.
Blizzard - No date set. Maybe next month, though.
Igloo - No date set. Probably a couple of months.
Colors are set for the Big Dipper and Blizzard, hit their respective product pages at CLYW.ca for details. Colors haven't been chosen for the Igloo yet.
To get sponsored, check our Knowledge Hub. We get asked this a lot.

I already own a borealis. There's room in the budget for one plastic (Im going to buy one of your bi-metals too). Big Dipper or yeti 2.0??? I don't have access to an original yeti to see how it plays unfortunately.

Big Dipper. The new Yeti isn't going to be ready for a while. -Steve

You guys should send big dippers to return top shop. It would be good for all us Canadians

Thanks for the suggestion! -Steve

dies that mean that nice aqua on the igloo is gonna be on a next run? what return top!!

Haven't ordered colors yet. -Steve

Why and how did Ernest Kahn's return top detach from the string in the Nationals video?

If you're doing a string adjustment trick like that and the string gets too loose, the return top will pop right out of the loop. -Steve

When is blizzard release??? I need to save money for it

We don't have a date yet, sorry. We'll announce one when we have one. -Steve

Hey Steve not sure if you remember but last year I did a PowerPoint which involved Zach Gormley for Computer Apps 1 class and it was great and now this year for Comp App 2 we got a project to do a PP on a celebrity or anyone we want. I think I'm going to do it on Zach! Can I email the final product?

Sure! Send it to thelodge@clyw.ca. Thanks! -Steve

Pretty broke after Christmas and the big dipper is more than welcome to come in January(?) I was just shopping around for a new plastic. Itd be a perfect bday present to my self hopefully it releases on the 16th or 17th. You guys like to release on weekends right? from, fishing for a release window

No release window, sorry. They hit our warehouse, and now we are doing the whole testing thing. Which may take a while, or may go super fast. -Steve

Who is The Maideraide having so much fun with at the beginning of all his Cabin Tutorials?

Can't remember everyone who was there that day, but I think it was Ky Zizan, Ben Gates, Tyler Severance, and John Wolfe. -Steve

How do you decide prototype colors to go with? Borealis was blue. Blizzard was gold. Igloo was also blue. Player preference or something to do with the anodizers?

Usually just a matter of whatever other color is being run at that time...since an anodizing batch usually holds a dozen+ pieces at a times it's easier to just run them in whatever color is already going on. -Steve

some of my favorites right now are the pulsefire too hot and cascade. does the borealis play similar to any of those ?

No. It does, however, play EXACTLY like a Borealis. -Steve

wait hold on here, I was just on clyw.ca and saw the new blizzard tab so I went to check it out and looked at the color options to see that there's a "clear" option. I'm very curious is the aluminum clear or is the the steel changed out for a clear poly or just a name? FYI the art looks awesome

"Clear" anodizing is how you get plain silver return tops. The clear anodizing coat protects the metal. -Steve

does the borealis have the same stability feel as the orca?

I find it to be a little more stable but both are very close. -Chris

Steve have you got the chance to try out da Igloo, Blizzard, and Borealis? What do you think of them? How bout da Little Dipper?

Haven't tried the Igloo yet.
Blizzard is amazing. Easily one of the best bi-metals I've ever used, by anyone. Still can't believe how good it is. Easily one of the fastest and most stable return tops I've ever thrown.
Borealis is quickly becoming a daily throw. Most stable than I expected, since it feels so light and fast, and holds spin better than I expected, too. For some reason, watching Zach play, I though it was going to be light and floaty and goofy and it's really not, ha ha.
Big Dipper is the best plastic return top of the year. -Steve

Where does your team find their music for freestyles and videos? It's very good and I'd like to try throwing to similar stuff

Adam Brewster: It's been a while (read: 1.5 years) since doing a competitive freestyle...
But:
Other than a steady musical diet of mewithoutYou and Radiohead I just make it a point to excessively shuffle through my music library a few months before any given contest to see if something catches my ear.
Dennis Cinquegrani: I follow a lot of sound cloud accounts that find good music for me. House of vibes. Soulection. Sangobeats. Flume. Pigeons and planes. Etc
Alec Campbell: I just use what I listen to normally. Like I might use Gucci Mane at PNWR.
Ernest Kahn: everytime i go to Tacebell whatever is playing.
Mark Mangarin: npr cool dad podcast
