Why do a clyw return top cost so much?

Because it's a premium item. We put a lot more work into these return tops than what you would find in a $50 metal return top, we have a team to support, and we don't make nearly as many of these as a larger company would.
We understand that it's a lot of money, but we offer our b-grade (Fools Gold) return tops at basically half-price for the more budget-conscious folks. And if that's too pricey, there are a ton of other companies making great return tops at lower prices. It's a great time to be a player...you have so many options!
