I work at a store that sells CLYW yoyo's and whenever someone new sees a yoyo for upwards of $100 they are dumbfounded. How do I explain the price to them?

The way I always explain it is like this: no matter what there is in the world, there are cheap ones and there are expensive ones. Any time you get really, really in to something you can get the higher end equipment, where the quality difference is there but usually only noticeable to the most knowledgable consumer or the lower end, which usually works fine for most everyone else.
CLYW is the higher end, and the quality and value are there but really only noticeable to people who really know what they're looking at. -Steve

Who from CLYW will be at NER?

Good question. Not sure. Maider and Kurti are likely, as they are super close. -Steve

yo, steve, are there any plans in the future or ideas to make a tug responsive throw?

No plans, but I'd personally love to do it. -Steve

how much money will cost new plastic yoyo made by zach? please i need to save money and i want to know how many

No idea...it's just a computer drawing right now. It'll be a while before we have pricing and release info. -Steve

It was Benji kamiya who was dancing in a orca contest, not Jason Enstedt

Yes! But it was Jason who sent in the video and he didn't clarify until later. -Steve

I love Dirty Sunset Color way from chief sooooo much! Plz plan it again in the future restock or on the other yoyo such like scout! Ash Berry as well !

Thanks for the suggestion! I like that colorway too...we'll definitely try and bring it back again. -Steve

Zach's string is so long, is that a normal kitty string?

Yep. Just don't tie a loop at the end...untwist the string at the knot, open that up, and use that to put the string though and make your slip knot. -Steve

Any benefits to flat bearings? I find that a ct or other centering bearing is a must.

You get greater ability for multiple string segments to slide past each other, but you lose the benefits of string centering. -Steve

Hey, how about David Kreibich's signature colorway? Any plans? PLEASE!

I think David has a little more work to do before that happens, but I'd love to give him one! -Steve

Steve! Or anyone of your amazingly talented team! I need help. How do I learn to get really creative with yoyoing and thinking out of the box? What would be a good approach? Everytime I throw I just habitually land in a double or nothing or a variation of it... Need inspirational words here! :'(

Most yoyo players look to other yoyo players for inspiration. Don't do this. Look elsewhere. Here are a few places that I often look:

after seeing thr borealis my first thought was "that almost doesn't look like a clyw." what made you guys design in a way so muvh different from the rest of your line up?

Since the very first day of CLYW, the same one guy has designed each and every return top we have ever produced.
To me, every CLYW looks like a CLYW. -Steve
