im about to trade one of my fave throws for my friends yeti but not sure yet , he said if u just leave the spacers stuck in the bearing seat and only ever remove the bearing itself when it needs cleaning or lubing then there is no chance of damaging the bearing seat. does that sound about right?

I would say pass on that trade, and hold out for the new Yeti. -Steve

also are the second batch yeti's known to have no string cutting issues because they were sanded more smooth than the original batch?

The second batch of Yetis weren't sanded at all. -Steve

But could you do 2 versions of Yeti ? One in Canada and one in China .

We already tried making them in Canada, and they weren't very good. -Steve

Is the new Yeti will be made in Canada ?

Nope, made in China. We tried making plastic return tops in Canada, and it was insanely expensive with *meh* results. This factory we are working with in China is run by good people, with fantastic quality. -Steve

I want to buy Scout in April beacuse I don't have money at the moment . So in your opnion can I buy it or it will be retired ?

No plans to retire the Scout. -Steve

Personally, do you enjoy the Big Dipper or the yeti more? Thanks!

I don't have a proto of the new Yeti, but I've been throwing the Big Dipper non-stop since I got mine. Chris has high praise for the Yeti protos, though, and he's picky. -Steve

Right wingin, bitter clingin, proud clingers of our guns, our God, and our religion, and our constitution?

That woman is a sad excuse for an American, and I'm embarrassed for her. -Steve

yesterday you said the new yeti will be better. can you tell us more about the new one and when it may be released?

It's larger. The diameter is around 64mm! We put a grind finish on it, it's made of polycarb, and we can produce these reliably without problems. Plus they don't cut string and the rib around the bearing seat doesn't break. Also, no spacers. April/May release date, if all goes well. -Steve

So you still have the box stamps of your old releases? I'm thinking about fiiinally getting a H5xChief through a trade, but the owner does not have the original box of it - and as a collector I'd hate to have it without the box... :/

We do still have old box stamps, but we don't reproduce old boxes. Sorry. -Steve

what other colors do you think you'll do on the BD

We are a little more focused on getting the first batch released. -Steve

when can we expect to start seeing some 10th anniversary things start

We've got one big one that we're gonna release closer to the end of the year. Chris and I are still finalizing plans for a few other things. -Steve

Have you shipped the Big Dippers to retailers yet? Sorry for being annoying but I am so excited for it!!

Not yet, but they should be shipping out in the next few days. -Steve

In your opnion will someone would buy Yeti for this price from Ebay ?

The Yeti is worth $45. I do not recommend paying more than that. -Steve

I think what the guy who asked about the half and half yoyos meant was will you guys sell a Big Dipper that's an emerald half and a grape half?

Ah, gotcha. No. -Steve
