Steve, what inspired you to create 5A?

Boredom, mostly. I was hanging out with a lot of jugglers and it seemed like what they were doing was bigger and more challenging and looked better on stage and there was a higher risk involved. Then I saw some of the THP kids doing "Slippery Eel" tricks, where you just take the loop off your finger while the return top is spinning and then swing it around your leg, release the string, and catch the string as it comes around.
l started fiddling with that, and had a hard time catching the string. Mark McBride recommended these tiny little heart-shaped beads so that there would be a little nub to feel when you hit the end of the string, but they were so tiny that it was easy for those to slip through my fingers too. I had some drilled out casino dice laying around so I tried tying one of those to the end of the string. Then I just....kept going with it. -Steve

Which of your return tops is the least floaty? Is floatiness to do with weight alone or weight distribution also?

The regular Summit is probably the least floaty, although I'd say the 7 Summits might be the most. Crazy, right? -Steve

Why did you guys make the decision to make a different response pad size? Beeing from europe its very hard to even get snow tires, so why did you make that decision?

When is the next of chiefs coming?

3-4 weeks, I think. We're running into a problem with one of our suppliers, and a delay in parts might slow things down a bit, though. -Steve
