Or should I get a Bonfire because I'm deciding between that and a AC2, also what would I look forward of I get a Bonfire?

Get whatever your little heart desires, James. -Steve

I was thinking you guys should do something like yoyofactory did with the supernova, a "lite" version. Something like the chief at 63gm would be heavenly in my opinion. 7075 63gm chief would be my dream yoyo personally...maybe a titanium one but thats stretching it lol!

We've fiddled quite a bit with the Chief over time and the weight it's at now is the best weight for that design. -Steve

I think you misread my question, the one about the 60-63 Gram full sized throw. Not the diameter the weight of it to be 60-63 grams. Any plans on that?

AH! Sorry, I read "60-63mm".
Doing something full-sized in that weight range doesn't usually work well unless you're using 7075 aluminum or titanium. The Campfire was tiny and even that was 63 grams, which is almost the same weight as a Seven Summits! We are planning some 7075 stuff soon, but we don't have samples yet so I don't have weights to know where they're coming in at. But anything you see from us at that weight will be because the material dictated it, not because we were aiming for it. -Steve

How do you guys keep adding .kre team members while still making a profit? I'm sure it's already fairly expensive to be giving throws to your team. Is this cost negligible to the amount you make off the official run? Isn't there a limit to the amount of team members you guys can have while still m

Unlike traditional companies we don't have the overhead of staff (just myself and Chris), we don't have a physical location, we don't have large stocks of inventory on-hand, and we don't have most of the normal marketing costs. The majority of our promotional efforts are through our team, so having them as our largest non-manufacturing expense makes sense for the industry we're in. -Steve

who from clyw is goin to bac?

Not sure, but I'll check in with the team and post something soon. :) -Steve

I love the AC2! What are some suggestions of return tops I would enjoy?

Try the Summit and the Chief. -Steve

Could you define "yoyo trick composition" for me?

Composition refers to how the trick is structured. The pacing of the trick, how the elements connect to each other, the flow of one element into the next, the overall aesthetics of the trick, the space that the fills, and whether or not the trick has a distinctive beginning, middle, and end. -Steve

Is every new yoyo CLYW releases going to have a solid color run from now on? I really like my solid pink Advance Scout and Orca, and I'd like to pick up more matching throws in the future.

Yep, that's the plan! -Steve

How long time do you think will go by, till we see the splashed orca's at retailers?

Don't have a date yet, sorry. -Steve

What do you guys look for in a player when you sponsor them? Talent? Personality? Popularity?

Yes. All that and more. -Steve

I think mudskipper is the best splash in terms of how it came out. That white outline/glow around the darker green looks so dope! the outline adds depth and character to the splash. use that effect more on these new splashMy favs gotta he the kurti sig and pete the purple squirrel in terms of colors

Yeah, we love it too! Glad you dig. :) -Steve

What colors are the production yetis going to be? I saw some colored ones and I was like omg too awesome!

The colored ones were just hand-dyed by John Higby. The production run will be the same colors as last time because they are the same parts from the last molding run. -Steve

how do you cope with horror movies? I can't stop being scared after watching just the trailers.

Being scared is the fun part! -Steve

What are the reasons that the Scouts/Orcas will be fools gold? Thanks :)

Sometimes there is a slight amount of vibe, other times it's just a flaw in the anodizing.
We have customers who will return a product because the color on one single speckle is a little off, so we have to be extraordinarily picky during the assembly process about what makes it through. Most of our Fool's Gold are just tiny, mostly imperceptible ano flaws. -Steve

Are you guys working on the AC 3rd?Actually my advice is more AC 2..........

Nope, working on something completely new for Zach. -Steve

What do you think the gap of the ac2 is I heard some people say it's 4.00 some say its 4.16

There seems to be a ton of discussion lately about our gap widths, in spite of the fact that they haven't changed at all in a really, really long time.
4.12mm, for everything. There may be a tiny amount of variance from one manufacturing batch to the next, but we have kept a consistent gap width through all of our designs. -Steve
