When I think of Duncan, I instantly think Freehand. Yomega; Raider. YYF, Genesis. What comes to your mind when you hear CLYW? What comes to your mind when you hear Jizzity Flip Flabs?

When we hear CLYW, we think "Huh? Oh, us? Sorry!"

When is the bgradeyoyos.com store gonna open?

You should ask Steve, it's all him.
Although I think right now he's waiting on pricing from Chris for some of his "private collection" stuff. Probably not until after Worlds.

What do you do to alleviate knot finger pain? It hurts pretty bad sometimes

Rest. That's the best thing for it.

If Jensen Kimmitt got another signature throw, can we name it Broccoli?

If Jensen wants another signature throw he can make it himself. The Wooly Marmot 2 is P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

It seems like all of your team including jensen really love the flowy slow style is that just coincidence?

Not sure what "flowy flow" style is, but a lot of our team play really differently from each other.
They're all total badasses though, if that's what you mean? ;)

When is Petr's Scout coming out?

Petr just got the first prototype in his hands on Friday...give him a little time to play with them. ;)

Can Peter compete with Nest to make it more popular? Or is it forbidden by you?

He could, but he prefers not to. It's still a really nice return top, though...you should pick one up!

What new throws are looking to be in production soon?

Next up is another run of Arctic Circle 2. We'll schedule a run of the Scout as soon as the final prototype is approved by Petr, but not sure how long that will take.

How does a Sasquatch play in comparison to an Avalanche? I played an Avalanche at IYYC and it was a good throw but too light for my preference, still a real ally awesome throw though!

The Avalanche was always meant to kind of be a "refined" version of the Sasquatch, but we found that when we refined the design, it lost a little something. Which is why we still make the Sasquatch.
The Avalanche is a little faster, and plays more like a typical CLYW model. The Sasquatch feels a little slower, but holds spin longer and is more stable. They're very, very similar to each other but it's easy to develop a preference when you play them side-by-side.

Where can I sign up for yeti school? Sounds awesome! I hope you have lots of syrup on that extra 20% of pancakes.

Head to the forest. Find a sturdy fir tree, knock on it three times, and declare "I've come for the pancakes, eh."
Then wait patiently. Could take a while. Might want to bring a book.

About how many fg return tops did you get per run before machining through Onedrop?

Too many. Like, dozens. For some models we had to scrap out ENTIRE production runs. It was awful.

Why did you chose to have Snow Tires and make every have to buy EVEN MORE different response pads instead of sticking with 19mm Slims, like everybody else uses?

We really prefer the way they play. It's purely a performance thing...if we could get the 19mm slim pads to work the way we like in our return tops, it would be way easier (and cheaper for both us and the players), they just don't quite work out.
Keeping our own custom pads in stock is a pain in the butt that we'd rather not deal with. But it's the best solution we've found to getting our return tops to play the way we want.

Open source a yoyo design so the whole community can work on it, like a CODE?

One Drop already did that, and quite well. No need for us to copy them!

Do you think different bearings make a HUGE difference in terms of play?

They really can. Now, once you get to a certain level of bearing there are some diminishing returns, but the difference between flat and Center Trac or Konkave bearings is pretty huge to a high-level player.
And no matter how good the return top, a junk bearing will make it play like total garbage. For serious.

Always a lot of thoughts, but not many plans. Do you think you can dump all of those thoughts somewhere for us to critique and bask in glory at Yeti's magnificent mind?

We're working on getting more organized, and bringing on some new folks to the CLYW organization to help us with that. Not sponsored players...actual company staff.
Expect an announcement soon...maybe even at Worlds! But we're still a pretty small organization, and while we're looking forward to growing our first priority is to make sure that we always stay true to the brand and to the ultimate goal of CLYW: to make amazing things for amazing people.
