When is next big dipper release? They are almost sold out
We had several stores place re-orders last night and this morning, and we also have a lot of new retailers (not currently carrying CLYW, but have asked for it) that we are going to offer Big Dippers to as well. So expect a restock from your favorite stores and more Big Dippers hitting other stores in a couple of weeks or so. -Steve
Is Alec gonna drop a full length Big Dipper vid? He had to have gotten way more footage than just those few clips.
I don't think there were ever plans for a full length Big Dipper video. As far as I remember from the early conversations, the plan was always for him to shoot a bunch of single tricks and great photos. Single tricks are just generally more useful to us and ultimately get viewed and shared a lot more than longer videos...so while we aren't giving up on longer videos, we aren't putting as much focus on them. We like the idea of them coming out less frequently, and being more special.
That said, Alec just finished editing the official full-length release video for the Blizzard with Andrew Maider, and it's fantastic. ;) -Steve

No problem. I usually only jump in here once or twice a day...sometimes I'll answer a question or two on my phone while I'm feeding my daughter, but mostly I try to answer stuff in batches. So if you ask something and it doesn't get answered right away, just give it a minute. The only stuff I delete is when I get the trolls throwing nastiness at me...I try to give solid, honest answers to every legit question that comes through. -Steve

I haven't done FG inventory yet, so not sure what we have. But generally I don't spend a lot of time answering detailed questions about Fool's Gold...it's something we're losing money on, and not happy that we have them at all. We offer to the fans for cheap as a "thank you", but we don't offer warranty, refunds, or customer service on them. We have a batch being engraved now, and should drop them early/mid March at CLYW.ca. -Steve

We actually have three different anodizers that we use, and yes...they are definitely fantastic. We give them plenty of credit, don't worry. Plenty of money, too. ;) -Steve

Steve a bit ago I asked you what I needed to start messing around with 5a, after I saw the big dipper video with petr playing 5a I decided to pick up a Takeshi dice with my big dipper but I cant find any info on how its tied on? does the bead get put on the usual way and the dice go over it loosely?

The CLYW booth will open at the start of the event. We will only have Blizzards if Andrew can attend the event, but we will have Big Dippers, Zach shirts, and some other stuff. No Yetis. -Steve

Will the bearings of the Blizzard be full ceramic or ceramic balls only? I hope the latter is the case, otherwise you should brace yourselves for getting spammed by people who crack their bearings by overtightening. Experienced this by myself and it happens so fast...

The color really doesn't affect how quickly the string wears. It used to, back when all string was cotton, because the dyes used would often make the cotton more brittle. But now that strings are all man-made fibers, color doesn't matter.
