How is the purple yoyo thing going? Havent seen any updates?
No updates because it's not officially launching until next year. Worlds was the initial announcement mostly because I needed an opportunity to get most of the industry in one place at one time to talk it through with people and make sure I had the industry support that I'm going to need for this. -Steve
What kept you motivated to make a new trick every day for a year?
The fact that I publicly announced I was going to do it, and I do not like going back on my word. Sometimes you just have to shame yourself into getting things done. -Steve
Follow up Tundra tuning question. Can you suggest any bearings that would be good for eliminating vibe? Any larger ones like you suggested?
I had good luck with Pixel Bearings, but to be honest I didn't try much beyond that because I don't really care that much. It plays just fine to me, the vibe is pretty minimal, and about what I would personally expect from a FG return top. -Steve
I'm looking to study abroad, would you recommend me Canada?
I will recommend Canada for pretty much everything. -Steve
What are your future release plans in order of release😊?
Don't have an order of release yet....that always depends on when things arrive and how everything shakes out. But we've got new releases coming really soon from Pool Party and Heaven Sent, plus new CLYW releases for Tessa, Rojas, Maider, Zach, and Harrison, and a new CLYW model that isn't a sig. Plus Chris is working on 10th Anniversary Peaks. Plus some new Basecamp releases that should be out in time for the holidays. -Steve
any pool party updates? loving the brand so much :D
There's another small release coming soon. Looks really neat, although I haven't thrown one yet. Crazy limited, though...I think only like 30 pieces!? Good luck! -Steve
Sure. The problem is with the bearing seats, so if you can find a bearing that is a little larger/tighter than usual, it will probably take some of the vibe out. -Steve
Do you primarily play 5A or 1A? Which is your favorite? Do you play any 3A or 4A? Do you think getting better at any one style makes you better/more creative at other styles? Did I really just ask 4 questions?
I primarily play 1A, but I've been getting back into 5A lately (thanks, Rojas!). I *can* play all styles, but I'm definitely better at 1A and 5A. I think having a working understanding of all styles, and switching between them regularly, definitely helps your overall skill and creativity. -Steve
