Not sure. @onedropyoyos has been handling that. -Steve
my yeti after literally five sandings still is a string snapper... what do i do!!!
Give up on it. At this point you've sanded it so much that you've probably sharpened the edge of the bearing cavity. The Yet is an amazing return top for sure, but it's a flawed design with a shelf life. We're working on something else but in the meantime, email thelodge@clyw.ca and we'll do something for you. -Steve
Adding to the hopusan request, you guys can do a throwback to the original pink marmot with a marmot and "holiday" engraved on the rims. So cool. Just a thought!
Sorry, this is a request, not a question. Please let Jensen come up with a rad color way and name it hopusan. God that name was the coolest thing back when he was in his prime, and it needs to be a thing again.
Any specific reason why the AC2 is the only throw in the 'newer' lineup which has a very different shape/look? And how does it affect it's playstyle? Nothing about it, just funny that everytime you see it you'll instantly recognise it - on the other throws there's at least room for mistakes haha!
The design is what Zach wanted. It's big, fast, and floaty. -Steve
From what I can imagine it should be pretty hard to get a nice camp caribou blizzard colorway done. 3 colors splash/sprinkles and stuff? How comes that for example the maiderade colorway is sold out way faster?
You guys should check out the new Fyuse iPhone app! It's like a weird 3D Instagram type thing that would be a SUPER rad way to show your return tops on!
Just got my Matsuri Fools Gold Bonfire today and it plays amazing, Dead smooth! Whats really unique about it is that one of the orange speckles is messed up and somehow turned into a 2 inch long splash mark across the catch zone, adds a nice orange accent while spinning. Keep up the great work =)
Glad you like it! Yeah, I kind of like when a speckle pattern goes awry like that, but lots of people don't. -Steve
I have no idea why y'all say the Ac2 sells slow. On the secondary market it is VERY difficult to obtain one. Maybe y'all should look at the the buy/sell/trade pages to see how popular your yoyos are in the aftermarket?
Well, I guess it's great that they are so desirable on the secondary market. See, the problem is, we're the primary market. ;P -Steve
On the subject of bst 's. Do the buy/sell/trade presence hurt yoyo companies at all? It sseems to be not a great thing if someone will trade for a clyw yoyo instead of buying one.
I don't think they hurt anyone other than the handful of reasonable sane people who have to slog through them in order to get an occasional deal. Those things are always such a hot mess. -Steve
Has a clyw member ever competed in anything other than 1a and 5a?
