What's the story behind the bonfire colorway latitude 53 (both the name and choice of colors)?
The 53rd parallel (Latitude line) runs through Edmonton. That explains the name. Not totally sure where Chris got the colorway from, other than it just generally looking awesome. -Steve
How would you compare the Sasquatch to the avalanche? They look very similar. At least on the sides.
They look really similar because the Avalanche was derived from the Sasquatch. It started as a refinement of the Sasquatch design but the more Chris worked on it the more he realized that even though the Avalanche was based on the Sasquatch, it became a unique enough design that it stood on its own. It's funny you bring this up, because it's the exact same thing that's kind of happening right now with the Scout. For the Scout, Chris started with Petr's favorite return top, the Chief. Then he started making changes based on Petr's specific needs as a player. While the end result still looks really similar to the Chief, it plays VERY different. The Chief and the Scout are great companions to each other, in the same way that the Sasquatch and Avalanche are. -Steve
i failed my history exam because i spent all week playing with my new chief :) its awesome thanks guys
The CLYW Marketing Manager in me wants to applaud your priorities. The dad in me would really prefer that you focus on your studies. Seriously...thanks for the love, but please focus on your studies. -Steve
This question is more oriented for Steve but has to do with clyw as well...ish.
I found a seller for a Sasquatch on the BST! Hooray!
I've never bought or traded through Facebook bst's so I was wondering what is your advice for a smooth transaction and how to best avoid being scammed.
Pay through PayPal as a regular purchase, NOT as a gift. Sellers will complain because they have to pay a small fee, but that's the only way you get protection through PayPal as a buyer. Be sure to ask them to pack it carefully. -Steve
