how do i tell if my throw is terrible or the return top (metal and plastic) is vibey?
Well you have to reach a certain skill level to be able to say whether a return top is good or not, but it's also highly subjective. Many return tops work just fine, but whether you like the feel or the characteristics of a certain throw is a different question. Vibe is usually tested with a finger nail while the return top is spinning. I personally don't care about vibe and find that it doesn't effect play at all unless it's aggressive and more of a wobble. - Charles

Hi Chuck, I'm struggling with the trick Tressley Capris (the cabin tutorial) on 57-59, when I open my fingers with the thumb for the chopstick move the yoyo always hits my fingers and if it makes it through it loses stability. Any tips on having a clean pass through this move? Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure if I can be totally helpful; but perhaps just make sure that you have a strong throw to maintain that spin time, and open you fingers as wide apart as you can. If you have smaller hands, try a smaller yoyo, that's what I like to do.

Is it bad for a return top in any way to not have the axle screwed in one half completely and just have it in about halfway on one side?
Not really. Most of the time the axle will center itself just fine as you assemble the return top. -Steve
