I haven't been on here in a while, and I'm wondering if there's still any plans to release a BBB Scout, or if that idea has went the way of the Dodo Bird.

It didn't die, but it also didn't happen. Exactly. Kinda though?
Petr wanted a BBB that was more blotchy and less speckly. So we told that to the anodizer, and of course they gave us something completely and totally none of those things, that doesn't look anything close to BBB. Because, you know, that's how it works with anodizers, ha ha.
So we're trying to come up with a new name for this colorway we ended up with, that is definitely not Black Bip Bop. Any ideas? So far all Chris and I have done is make a lot of 80s jokes. -Steve

Some nice tricks, but not enough of them. It's a 1-minute prelim, and there's only about 35-40 seconds worth of tricks in there. Needs to be faster, and more dense. No time to hold a tower or stop and pose, you need to cram as many points in there as possible. Save the performance stuff for finals. -Steve

Zach should be sponsored by Adidas. Me watching him play in those Y3 Qasa's kinda made me want a pair sooo bad! And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one! I remember him being hooked up with kicks by that Hayday footwear brand back in 2011. Any idea if it was only a onetimer, or if he has backed out?

Right after Zach's win I emailed Y-3 and told them the story and gave them the press release. They said thanks and said they would forward it to their PR department. Yup that's about it, stopped there! I've actually purchased a pair of Qasa highs and lows because of Zach ... haha. He's my style manager. -Chris

Do you need to tune the Big Dipper? Or is it pre tuned. Or is there tuning at all?

The only tuning to be done is swapping halves and making sure the bearings are good, and we do all of that before they are sold. You wont have to do anything. -Steve

I'm a bit confused now. Do you mean there will be FG version of one-off colorways that are already sold out? Even the clear ano Borealis? I love that "blind-box" idea though!

We had about 60 one-offs from the anodizer. "One-off" means there is only one of them. Of those 60 one-offs, only 20 were a-grade.
The other 40 are b-grades, and we will have them engraved and offer them as Fool's Gold in a month or so. -Steve

I just ordered a 1off Borealis and I wasn't aware that some were gonna be FG. Im not complaining or anything because i heard that FG's have very little vibe. Just wondering why you didn't make that public. Also are there any clips of Chuck's comdey shows or whatever it sounds cool.

None of the one-offs sold yesterday were Fool's Gold.
Sorry for the confusion...what I said was that from this same production run we have a bunch of Fool's Gold, and those will be available later (and clearly marked as Fool's Gold, as we always do). -Steve

If you're an intermediate player, it doesn't matter which one you pick. Both will likely be more return top than you need right now, but as you grow into them you'll come to appreciate the extra spin and power. -Steve

If you had to retire all of the CLYW throws for some reason except one, which one would you keep in production?

Duuuude. You're killing me! I would probably save the Sasquatch because it's my favorite but the Borealis is my #2 and I just haven't had as much time with it so maybe I would save that one instead...but then again, the Blizzard proto I have is amazing so maybe....argh.
Sasquatch. I guess. And I would spend the rest of my life second-guessing that decision and mourning the loss of all the rest. -Steve

Were any of 1 off Borealis pre-sold? I refreshed right at 9pm (and repeatedly before then) and the one I wanted was already gone. How? I get that someone could have been quicker getting it in the cart, but to complete the checkout process that fast? Just feeling sad and salty I guess--heh.

Nope, sorry. It's just the crappy part about having a really tiny amount of one-offs, unfortunately.
Chin up, though. MOST of the one-offs from this same batch ended up being Fool's Gold. So you'll get a shot at some neat ano jobs at a much lower price in a month or so. We're going to totally "blind box" these, though, so you won't know which ano job you're getting. Exciting? Annoying? Super cheap? All of this, and more. ;) -Steve

Nope, it's just straight up polycarbonate. We wanted to go with something reliable this time around, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Literally. -Steve
