your new colorway is not that good color , im sorry to say that but i love old clyw yoyo and color .. Think 1000 time before you choose the color

I cannot promise we will think 1000 time before we choose colors, but I think I can safely promise to think at least 47 times. -Steve

Has Chuck's signature return top started the design process? Prototyping yet?

Design, yes. Not to the prototyping part yet, though. -Steve

You guys should totally make more return tops in the root beer avalanche colorway. I have a puffin 1 and the color is just so cool.

We're working with a new anodizer that can do more consistent browns, so hopefully we can bring it back! -Steve

Will you guys have 28 stories or meteorite on ur next chief run?

We haven't chosen colors for the next Chief run, they haven't even started machining yet. -Steve

My friend ordered a Gnarwhal 2 from yoyoraven 3 and a 1/2 weeks ago and it's still not at his house... He's freaking out and wondering what's taking it so long to ship :(

No idea, but if he's in the US it could be stuck in customers. Has he contacted YoYoRaven? They're good folks. -Steve

What is it about the Yeti that means it needs so much maintenance? I really want to buy one but the amount of maintenance it needs with making sure the string doesn't break put's me off buying one

It's a combination of two things...the angle where the plastic turns from the bearing seat to the inner wall, and the unique material we use to mold them.
I personally haven't had any problems with string breakage, but then Chris says that he has to polish his every few months. It seems to vary greatly from person to person, and it's not widespread enough that we consider it a huge problem...but it's definitely a nuisance.
As such, we're finalizing some things now but I think we'll be blowing out the rest of the Yetis as a super reasonable price, and including a bit of sandpaper and maintenance instructions to make sure that people understand better what they are buying in to. It's not a perfect solution, but the Yeti really is an amazing player, and we think it's worth the hassle. Once these parts are gone (and there aren't really all that many left) we'll revisit the design and either try to fix that wall or just move to another shape for a new plastic return top. -Steve
