I've always thought of stability being how resistant a yoyo is to tilt, which would fit with a more rim-weighted yoyo right? But it seems like many view stability as, like, not being prone to wobbliness (that's a word now). Mind clearing me up? Is there a different term for what i'm describing?

Stable to me is how a yoyo resists tilt. Wobbliness is just a result of a throw that isn't stable. To make a throw more stable yes you need more rim weight. But if there is too much it's going to leave your hand feeling like a heavy rock because it takes more work (torque) to get it up to speed. Make sense?

Hey Chris Do you ever secretly kind of wish that somebody else made clyw? Not that you don't love what you do.. but just so you could experience the magic from our point of view? Like getting to try a bonfire for the first time and falling in love. But from the outside? Thanks!

Oh I still the same as everyone else when we get a new throw. I just got a production Scout and was just as excited as I am sure everyone else will be once they get them. I was jumping up and down when I got it.
My goal when we started CLYW was to create a company I would want to buy throws from. It's something I stand by and would never want to release something that I am not pumped on. If I'm not excited about it then no one else will be.
Hope that makes sense!

what are some of your favourite CLYW player videos?

I really liked that Pekka video that was of a trick that rewound and looked like he but rewind to make the video look like it is playing in reverse but wasn't.
I really like Chuck's Bonfire video and all of the Rendezvous. What about you?

Chris! Should I get an Orca or a Chief next?

The next run of Chiefs are going to be really neat, but this solid Orcas are quite amazing! -Chris

Chris- will the next run of puffin 2 with maiderade look like the original maiderade puffin 2 or the newer maiderade. sorry if this question is confusing

Not quite sure! It's always hard to tell. So many different variables go into it. Usually always say the colors the same and send photos to our anodizer. But you never know if it will be the exact same tones. They try. - Chris

Like a bitch I drink water out of the cup of my Puffin 2

You had the money for a Puffin 2 but no money for cups? Priorities, man. -Steve

Would Jens Vase have a chance to come on the team? I think he is a great fit

I get really uncomfortable talking about team business on here, sorry. It's something that is very deeply personal to Chris and I, who we invite to the team and why, and it's not something we're really comfortable discussing publicly at the moment. The CLYW team is a family. And yes, there are marketing and business obligations there, but people are chosen first because they "fit", and all other considerations are very secondary. And calling out a player on here and telling us they should be on our team puts us in a weird spot, puts them in a weird spot, and then encourages all of the people who only kinda sorta halfway read the answers here to give us like a solid 6 months of "Is so-and-so on your team?", which is weird and uncomfortable. -Steve

It's awesome that you like the Aquabats! Did they get rid of their horn section? Hard to be a ska band without a Tenor Saxophone or Trumpet!

I don't remember them having a horn section when I performed with them? Maybe it's just an occasional thing. -Steve

I love Aaron Davis. I think he is great and love to watch his videos. His play style just amazes me.

He's fantastic.
And if I seemed a little over-protective in my response here (http://ask.fm/CLYWOfficial/answer/127643172032) to that snarky comment about him it's because I feel really protective of not just our team, but of all return top players who take a little time off now and again to focus on life outside of return tops. It's really important to keep your priorities straight, and to have a life outside of our little hobby/sport/industry. So when anyone feels like they need to step back a little and re-focus, I support that 1000% and I get really testy when people use that to question their value as a player.
I've needed to step back and take time away from return tops. Several years, in fact. Chris too. No matter who you are, you need to step away now and again. It's just part of the ebb and flow of life, and it's healthy. So when people get snarky about it, I get protective and mad. I would apologize but...nope. -Steve

so aaron davis got on the team just about 1 year ago, after releasing a hefty handful of videos and tutorials. since getting on the team, he's posted like 3 new yoyo videos. did he like run out of tricks or what?

Aaron has been contributing a lot of photography to CLYW (check the cover on our FB page), even though he's been really busy with work and life lately. He's got plenty of tricks, don't worry.
And sign your name the next time you trash talk someone. Otherwise a perfectly legit question or comment just sounds like you're jealous and whiny. -Steve

I mean if I buy 2 fg in your store, can I pay 15¥ for shipping?

Shipping is calculated by weight, not by the number of products. -Steve

Ok, I have a vision here! A seven summits style line of yoyos called the four turtles. All green; one with blue splash, one with red splash, one with purple splash, one with orange splash. The Leonard, the Raphael, the Donatello, and the Michelangelo. Yea!?

LOL
No, but thanks for the suggestion. ;) -Steve

I've read somewhere that the AC2 is going to be discontinued soon. Why? It is a wonderful throw!

Because Zach is ready for something new, and we think we can top the AC2. :) -Steve
