Just watched the Slo Mo version of Herding Cats, watching it in slow motion shows how epic that video really is. Hands down the best Kendama video I've ever seen! Charles, what ken is the striped one with the white/gold striped dama and the darker ken with the light blue dama? Thanks!

Dark ken with light green dams is a Kendama usa ken with a random tama.

Where do you see yoyo design heading in the future?

Well, honestly I thought it was going to be motorized return tops but then Bandai released one and nobody cared.
I know a few companies are working on magnetic bearing stuff but ultimately I think you'll get a pretty low return off that as well.
Mostly, I think we're just going to see continued slight improvement in weight distribution and materials. Some kind of titanium alloy would be awesome, so that you could get the strength of Ti with a lower material cost. - Steve

How long do you wait to announce a new member on the team?

Once we add someone to the team, we like to sit on the news for about 4 months while we let it slowly drive them insane. Once they totally lose it, then and only then are they truly CLYW material. - Steve

Steve, are you or anyone else at the Lodge a fan of Game of Thrones? If you could go back in history to 743 BC, Thrones times, which family would you want to be a part of? Your choice can also include things like Dragons, White Walkers, Wildlings, one of Crasters wives, anything really.

I love Game of Thrones! I also love that you say "If you could go back in history to Thrones times", like any of that actually happened, ha ha ha.

Why don't you make 4Ayoyos?

4A is only just now starting to get some momentum in North America, and there are already other companies making really nice ones. We just don't have anything to add to the conversation right now...maybe in the future! - Steve

I got the blue and green kendama and the blue was in perfect condition while the green had blemishes and scratches all over the matte paint, I don't want to wait another week for a replacement to come, anyway you can help?

Oh man...I'm sorry! :( I personally hand-checked each and every kendama, so I know it looked good when I shipped it.
Not sure what happened in shipping to do that, but that TOTALLY sucks and I'm sorry to hear it. I can hook you up with a replacement? Or you can play with it for like 20 minutes and then it's gonna look like that anyway?

Can you compare the differences between regular ct's, ctx, buddha ripple, and yyr bearings? I like regular ct's but haven't tried any others so I am not sure if regular ct's are bad.

Regular CT's are pretty good.
CTX is super dooper good!
I've never used a Buddha Ripple.
YYR bearings are super crazy good.

Why does Jensen and Charles wear the string on the middle and ring finger?( if they do. it kinda looks like it on videos)

Jensen has some nerve damage on his middle finger so he had to add the two fingers to help decrease the pain. Plus then he can do the sky bind variations with it. - Yeti
