What program do you use for laser engravings? What hardware?

Usually send them vector drawings. No idea on the hardware. We leave that up to the shop we are working with. So far the best engraving was done by the shop that did the ano for the fool's gold run of Avalanches we did. Those solid colors. Was the same shop that anodizes Race Face bike components. How rad is that? - Chris

What's the ID, OD, and thickness of CLYW Snow Tires?

Dunno. But if you have access to some calipers you can easily figure it out. - Chris

Thoughts on metal Kendamas?

Just seems weird and no one has done it right yet. They are all too heavy or not anodized. Bi-material or hollow it out! - Chris

Oops I meant Red Oak Moss. Foxy Moss is my fav color and We sometimes also call it green apple.

Are you ever going to make CLYW toys that aren't yoyos or kendamas?

Like toy trains? I dunno. Maybe. My kids do like trains. However I would love to do a small run or bike frames one day. - Chris

28 stories is one of my favorite color ways, is it still a charity project?

Yes! So far we have raised over $3000 for Doctors Without Borders. I haven't donated for 2014 yet. But yes we always do and any collabs we do we mention this and hope that the other companies follow suit. - Chris

Do you think it would be possible to see some Backspin x CLYW collaboration in the future? Like some clothing line or videos? Guys from Europe are doing such great work, it's shame their stuff is not sold in US/Canada.

Maybe. They approached us about doing some clothing. But we haven't hashed out any details yet. - Chris

Other than the obvious possibilities that'd open up if it were possible to anodize white, are there any colors you'd love to do that just aren't possible? (Maybe neons?)

I don't know I bought a license for a couple thousand dollars in 2012. You can get student licenses for much cheaper. - Chris

What yoyo do You recommend for and intermediate who really love to throw?

Anything! Just Yoyo and have fun. Doesn't matter what you throw. Everything is awesome these days. I was just playing with an OD Gradient. That thing is rad! - Chris

Where could I buy used yoyos?

There is a BST section on YoYoExpert.com and a FB group that are usually good. But you never know what you will get. Some kids just ship throws together in an open box with no padding. It's scary and sketchy and no one regulates it. So you have to guess. Best thing to do is wait for stuff to show up in Steve's bgrade store. He does a good job with shipping and prices are reasonable. - Chris
