will u guys be sponsoring any contests in vancouver comin up?

Not sure. What contests are happening in Vancouver? -Steve

hey steve do you remember the GRIM SLEEPER & CHERRY BOMB? BAD MEMORIES?

Yep, I remember those! Great loopers. If you put Spintastics wooden axles in them but leave the o-rings, you have something that plays like an adjustable gap Russell. -Steve

When you check for vibe prior to shipment, do you use your finger nail or the finger pulp? Which is the correct method?

We use the fingernail. Neither method is "correct", but the fingernail just doesn't slow the return top down as much as skin does. -Steve

Can you made just silver colors of wooly marmot 2 ?

Maybe we can do some with clear ano in the next batch. We'll think about...thanks for the suggestion! -Steve

Some of the boxes of your past return tops came with art on all sides of the box. Some even came with a sleeve with colored art. Why was this discontinued?

It wasn't discontinued. The Chief still comes with art on all sides, and I think the Sasquatch does too. The only one that came with a graphic wrap was the Bear Vs Man 2, and that has been discontinued entirely. Although we do have a batch of Fools Gold that will still come with the graphic wraps. -Steve

what do you think of the campfire?

It was a really neat return top, and one of our best sellers, but it wasn't a great fit for the line. It played really nice, but yeah....kinda weird. -Steve

Are all fools golds have "fools gold" etched in them?

They are all marked. We used to do a big "Fools Gold" etching inside the cup, but now we're just doing pickaxes on the rims. -Steve

Any chance of a Ptetr Kavka x Zach Gormley kendama video?

They'll both be together in Japan for 44Clash...I'll see what I can get! -Steve

Is it bad to tune a return top to make it smoother?

It's not bad, unless your tuning regimen includes things that could damage your return top. -Steve

Is the puffin 2 bead blasted? If not, what finish does it have?

All of our return tops have a blasted finish. -Steve

you guys should make another run of the yeti that's double the size so it can be used as a offstring

Not sure that's the best idea for an offstring return top, but thanks for the suggestion! - Steve

Can I post more than one photo for the instagram contest? They will be different pics. I just can decide witch one I like more.

You can post as many photos as you like, but you'll still only get one entry. Chris set up a script to auto-dump all contest entries into a Google spreadsheet. Before we choose winners we'll sort by username and delete any duplicate entries. -Steve

i got an idea for a color it would be green with red splash that would be called scary monsters and the other one would be red with green splash and that would be nice sprites

Thanks for the suggestion! -Steve

You can make a "autumn forest" colourway ... dark green with brown splash and light brown (honey colour) speckles ... I think it´d look awesome !

I like that! I always like dark earth-tones on return tops. Although they don't seem to sell very well, so we probably won't. -Steve

Guyz... why u r not sponsoring guys like chase bexter, keiran cooper or tomas vyletel?

We're pretty happy with the team where it is for right now. -Steve

sasquatch X chief X bonfire ... what is better for you (I can't tried)

I haven't spent a whole lot of time with the Sasquatch, but my impression is that it will out-spin pretty much everything else we make. The Bonfire is a close second in terms of spin & stability, and the Chief is third in that department. That said, I find myself reaching for the Chief more often as a 1A throw and the Bonfire for 5A. -Steve

Will scratching the ano on the bearing POST (the thing you hit the axle on sometimes when screwing the yoyo back together) very lightly affect the way the return top plays in any way?

It shouldn't, unless you start taking metal off the bearing post. -Steve
