I have seen an advance scout that had been anodized in a 28 stories colorway, and it was done by or through Clyw. Was that "ok" by yall? Does it bother you guys to see your colorway produced with out you?

Advance Scouts were only available in solid colors from CLYW. Doesn't bother us at all to see someone customizing their return top, just as long as they aren't trying to resell it and claim that it came from us that way. As long as it's represented properly as a "fan anodizing job", we're totally good with that. -Steve

Whats this I hear about the Yeti snapping strings? It's making me question whether I want one or not.

We used this really neat and very fancy plastic for the return tops that feels cool and plays great and unfortunately it can prematurely wear on your strings. So if you throw really hard and not particularly straight it makes this problem even worse. You can sand the inside of the return top down with fine grit sandpaper and then it will play fine for a while but after a while you'll have to redo it.
It's not a great thing, and it's why we are just releasing a handful of Yetis from the last remaining parts and not running any more out of this material. Our plan has been to release the rest of these since there is a huge demand for them, with instructions on how to maintain them, and then re-work the mold and find a new plastic to use to solve the problem. -Steve

There is no location set for Worlds 2016. I just got tired of your "Worlds in_______?" so I just said "yes" and hoped you would leave me alone. Clearly, that backfired. :P -Steve

Hey Steve, just got one of the 44 clash 5 panels. It's awesome, but how do I deal with the mobs of people jealous of my steez every time it leave the house? This thing should come with a warning label; it is in fact TOO COOL.

I'm going to recommend getting yourself a sturdy piece of bamboo, about 2 inches in diameter and about 4 feet in length. Hit anyone who gets close enough. -Steve

We just did produce it in solid green. So won't be in that color again for a while. -Steve

Who decides where Worlds 2016 is to be held? In the US, California already has nats, Vegas has a contest. Would Manhattan be a possibility?

The US National YoYo League will be running Worlds 2016, and they will determine the venue.
For the record, Manhattan is an absolutely horrible contest venue. Barely any space, it's crazy expensive, and it's impossible to find anywhere large enough for everyone to hang out after the event each day. -Steve
