So then I guess my question is would you guys collab again?

Maybe? Collaborations don't happen because someone says "Hey, we need to collaborate with this person". They happen because one side has an idea that really needs the other side to make it amazing...right now, we don't have any ideas that need YoYoFactory to make them next level, and YoYoFactory doesn't have any that require us. So...nothing planned but neither of us are against the idea. -Steve

what makes a yoyo smooth? does it have to do with the design, machining, or something else?

Design helps. Really quality machining is a huge part of it. Good components, too. Lots of things have to happen in tandem to make a return top smooth, and any one of them being off can wreck the whole thing. -Steve

is the borealis plastic?

No, the Borealis is 6065 aluminum. Zach will have a plastic return top coming out soonish though, although we haven't settled on a name yet. -Steve

Any more runs of the yeti for the future?😏

We have some parts left being assembled now and then I think that's it until we get the new mold made. -Steve

So will we ever be seeing Charles in a competitive scene again?

No idea. Since he left CLYW I don't really keep up with him. Maybe track him down and ask him on Facebook? -Steve

What is the difference between the puffin 1 and puffin 2

Totally different shapes, inner cup profile, and weight distribution. -Steve

A responsive CLYW would be fantastic! ...Maybe call it "Son of Yeti"? Ha ha.

I'd love to do some really cool exotic wood stuff. Just hard to find someone to make it for us. -Steve

how much does the puffin 2 weigh? on my retailers website it says around 65.7 and on the clyw website it says 67.5.

Oh snap, good catch! I transposed the numbers on the CLYW site...I'll go fix that now. Correct weight is 65.7 grams. Thank you! -Steve

What's up with Shinnosuke?

He's hard to communicate with since his English is about as good as my Japanese, but I think we've worked out a better line of communication with him. Hoping to see more from him in the coming year. :) -Steve
